When I was on holiday I went into the Wellington for lunch with the family and sat in the courtyard. It's dog friendly which is good and they provided a bowl of fresh water for our dog which was nice. My wife had the crab cakes, I had pork schnitzel and my son had fish and chips; the food was... 16yr old daughter decided she wanted to go here for a meal to celebrate her GCSE results. Starters and mains were delicious. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Cost was about average for a meal out. Will definitely be returning.

A well used all day pub which sells a good selection of drinks reasonable cheap and has sports TV. Seating is at a premium but has an outside courtyard and food facility it also has rooms to let.

My fiance and I stayed at a local B&B for a night to escape .. we did basically a pub crawl around the town but kept ending back in the place. Lovely seating area outside and cheap drinks. We also had a meal which was delightful. . Highly recommend!

Called in twice in two days for a quick drink, first call found staff very helpful and cheerful unfortunately second day saw staff in not such a happy mood. Looked like they were having a bad day and there customer service was not up to their colleagues levels from the previous day.

Looked in the pub but we're not impressed. Then round the corner in the courtyard we found a very nice restaurant attached to the pub. It was very busy but we were invited to have a drink and only had to wait about 15 minutes when the manager came and found us to tell us that there was a table.... More

One of the plus points of this place, at least on a sunny day is it's wonderful sun trap beer garden. It has a great relaxed atmosphere. The beer is good with a selection of real ales which were well looked after. As it was lunch time sandwiches were had. Although on the menu the Cromer Crab Sandwiches look expensive,... More

On the seafront in August it was very blowy and as a result, chilly. Moving just yards inland and sitting in the Wellington courtyard, jumpers and jackets were discarded and t-shirts only were needed. Drinks reasonable. Only downside, is that 2 members of our family party of 20 who were sitting there eating and drinking (aged 2 - 72) brought... More

I've just spent two nights at The Wellington. Spotless and comfortable room; fantastically helpful and friendly staff; great food in the separate restaurant. All that said, and acknowledging that this was Cromer Carnival week, it was however a rather pricey couple of nights!
