We ate in the courtyard restaurant which is separate to the main pub. Although it was early in July the place was busy and the food very good - service not bad either. From our experience of Cromer there weren't that many places to eat at the standard we we were looking for (perhaps we are picky) and the courtyard... More

Nice pub always visit here when in the area. Haven't tried the food yet but the ale is hit and miss sometimes, they were always happy to replace so can't moan..good atmosphere just round the corner from the beach and in the heart of the town.

Lovely and very old-fashioned pub by the sea at Cromer. Wanted somewhere for a quick drink as was very thirsty and the Wellington suited our requirements! Very nicely-themed place and in a good location. Would return.

The Sun was outside so my friend and i thought we'd go the Welly for a bite to eat and sit in the courtyard The bar staff were very friendly and helped us decide from a fab menu what to have I choose the lobster with garlic butter and salad. It was delicious and very well prepared. My friend had... More

We took our daughter here for a meal while on holiday in Cromer. It was a basic menu for a pub as was the food. The chips weren't very nice, my husband didn't finish his sausage and mash as he said it wasn't that good and my daughter was disappointed in her meal too. It wasn't overly expensive but we... More

Myself and my partner decided to pop in here for a drink one sunny Friday lunchtime. Wish we hadn't bothered. We ordered drinks and two starters, namely the deep fried brie and the crabcake, from a very polite and helpful young girl. After that it went downhill. Upon cutting into the first wedge of cheese it was obvious that it... More

The restaurant is separate from the pub which I found a lot nicer as it was quiet and peaceful. There is also a nice outdoor seating area. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was just as good, we managed to squeeze in room for a dessert and it was definitely worth it.

Thank Kate T
