Whilst you could walk past and think of it as just being another pub, when it comes to dining and the food delivered, it hit the spot on alll fronts. We were in Cromer just for the weekend and fancied a Sunday lunch, did the usual thing a googled local eating establishments and this popped up. With there being 6... More

What a super pub in November. Log fire, real ales and a great atmosphere. We didn't eat here but came in after a pizza across the road (see separate review). A great place to have a drink and relax.

My husband and I went for lunch on a Sunday but didn't want a traditional roast dinner. I decided on a venison burger with blue cheese, chips and coleslaw and my husband had partridge casserole. We waited for about 30 minutes for our meal but I think that was down to most people having a roast meal ( which looked... More

We wanted a lunchtime snack so I ordered a smoked haddock chowder served in a sourdough roll. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised when the chowder was in a huge roll and topped with a large fillet of smoked haddock. The dish was freshly prepared, contained lots of fresh clams and tasted gorgeous. My partner ordered the smoked mackerel pate on... More

We looked into the pub and thought not for us. Just walked round the corner and found the courtyard at the Wellington. The food was great and it is a good fish restaurant and as we were in Cromer we had to have Cromer crab, the men had Lobster. The staff were very good and the portions were very generous.

Having Been for a walk along the front and the pier Decided we needed a quick warm up before driving back. What a lovely friendly pub. Full of character just as we like them. None of this plactic chain groups for us. Reminded me of the Victoria and the Nelson on the I.O.M. Good range of drinks but as driving... More

Such a lovely place and great value for money, would eat here again and again! Good selection of different dishes on offer. Portions are generous and the quality of the food is brilliant for the price. Give it a visit!

We had a great lunch at the restaurant through the courtyard at The Wellington. It was a shame it wasn't busier as it could have done with more atmosphere, but the food was fabulous. I had a huge portion of mussels, most of them fleshy and delicious, and the sauce was excellent. My partner had a chowder, cleverly served in... More
