The restaurant is a few minutes walk along the West Cliffs from the town centre. My wife and I went there for the Cromer crab. We had it grilled in butter and garlic. Really good. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The crabs aren't huge. A portion of one is quite expensive. A portion of two is much better value. Would... More

Dinner was nicely presented and food was hot. We had fish and chips but would have had the plaice although unfortunately there were only 2 portions left so 2 of our party had the plaice and we had cod and chips. The service was good and we enjoyed what we had.

The food was as if eating in a top eaterie in Paris or london. The lobster crab skate and prawns were amazing. My partner loved the lamb too. Just an amazing eating experience. Service as good as any five star restaurant

Set in one of Cromers original ( and now externally tired looking)Victorian hotels it would be easy to be put off. Inside the décor is interesting with several original features which will appeal to some. varied menu served up decent portions of hot well cooked food.

Had an excellent evening meal two weeks ago, sea bass was my choice, cooked perfectly and well presented, had coffee liquer instead of sweet - delicious. Staff were friendly, it was nice to have window seats to have a pre-meal drink, and sit there again to have coffee after meal. A very relaxed atmosphere.

Not really a bistro not sure what to call it. The young waitress stomped around the room. The garlic bread was straight from the microwave and the seafood was nothing to write home about. At best the food was average. Decor needs a revamp.

Stopped in here with the family and the dog, very accommodating and we sat in the Major's Snug to eat our lunch. Excellent choice and Cromer crab was really good. A little walk out of the town and well worth a visit.
