We booked a table for 5 on Fathers day evening. The place is very nice, an old building with oak beams and seperate areas for privacy. The food was very nice and cheaper than most Indians we use in the area. Service not the quickest but in all a good quality nice tasting Indian. Would return.

My family and I have come here all the time for 10 or so years. The prices are reasonable and haven't gone up since we first started going there, the food is amazing (I've never been able to eat a chicken tikka massla anywhere else), they're all very polite and call us by name. The place is great, I recommend... More

Dined here for the first time. We visited this purely because the name made us smile The Gandhi in Sandy! Glad we did though as the food was excellent, freshly cooked ingredients which had a good depth of flavour. We have been disappointed with Indian Restaurants overall in the locality but this one shines out with good traditional cooked food.... More

We had a meal there for 3, the service was good and they were willingerie to amend your order, probably the best nan bread I have had for a while, food was hot, and spicy but full of flavour. Really good value for money.

Last night we decided not to go to our normal resturant, the Maharaja Indian restaurant in the middle of Sandy. We have been eating there for 3 years and thought we would try the The Gandhi instead. On walking through the door we could see that the restaurant was quiet, very few people sat eating so we thought we would... More

This was my 2nd visit here and it really is very good. Service is excellent and really friendly. Starters and mains were great quality, cooked to perfection and presented nicely. Prices are great and overall really great value for money. Would recommend to all others looking for great Indian food.

Visited the restaraunt last Friday night with a friend for the first time. It has a lovely interior and a great atmosphere. The staff are very attentive and despite it being very busy (as it was a Friday), there were plenty of staff on hand to offer drinks or to check we were ok. I would highly recommend this place.... We visit this restaurant on a regular basis and have never been disappointed. The manager Bobby is always on hand to ensure his customers are happy. We always book rather than turn up as this restuarant is very popular and usually busy. On our most recent visit after we had received our ordered meals, a member of staff asked if... More
