This restaurant is 3 min walking from the shopping area and between 10 till 15 min walking from the station. The restaurant serves standard things, but the food is seriously delicious. The atmosphere is good and the people that work there are good. The price is a little high, but it's worth it.

Six of us visited this restaurant on both the first and last nights of a cycling holiday. We did a tour which started and ended in Schagen. We all voted this this our favourite restaurant of the holiday, and we had some excellent meals overall. Be careful how much food your order as the servings are large, and most food... More

The restaurant is generally quite busy with a nice atmosphere. Service is average. Some touches are nice like the welcoming warm bread and cold meat. The menus are like a newspaper and the decor is good. The food is average at best, salty ribs and mediocre steaks but the portions are generous enough. Overall worth a try but a little... More

Visited here during a week in the area on business. Absolutely top notch. Fantastic food, friendly service, great atmosphere. For me, this was the best food of our trip, and the other places we ate were very good as well. I am unlikely to be returning on business anytime soon but fully intend to drop by to eat here the... We used to come here quite regularly and were very fond of the restaurant, when they first opened. I don't know what happened but the quality of food became average and service uninterested unless you are acquainted with the owner. Our anti-climax was when a bottle of wine was added twice on the bill and when my mother-in-law went to... More

We had to wait for the food a fair while. The food was okay, but nothing special and we were disappointed with the food in relation to the price! Not the place we will visit next time. We think it was too expensive for what is was as the food was just ordinary and something one could make at home.

Based on the reviews here you might reach the conclusion some fine dining can be expected here. Don't be fooled. Making a reservation is absolutely pointless because the owners think they're so extremely special they can sit their friends at your reserved table. On entrance already we found the group of people behind us being welcomed warmly and asked for... More

We went to this restaurant on the basis of tripadvisor reviews. I agree the restaurant is very convival with interesting decor and friendly staff. However the most important factor has to be the food. We all had a cheesy mushroom as starter which was delicious. However the main courses were decidedly disappointing. I had the ribs and was anticipating a... More

Went here after several years not having been but I must say nothing disappointed. The food is varied and offers something for everyone. The newspaper style menu is a great feature. Service is excellent and not pushy at all. A lot of places can take example from this. All good at Loet!

The restaurant is conveniently located and has a very convivial atmosphere suitable for tourist and family diners; The subtle lighting creates a very cosy environ. There is a large selection of meals. The menu looks like a small tabloid -very creative! A main meal with desert and wine was approximately 25 Euro per person. The quality and quantity was exceptional.... More
