We stayed at the Hotel and after having lunch on Saturday in the restaurant we decided that we were also going to lunch on Sunday. Rice is incredibly good and deserts are great too. Service is nice and responsive. We've been able to try 2 different rice dishes and I dont knw wich one I would choose as best since... More

Had lunch here whilst staying at the hotel. We ordered 3 starters to share and they were delicious. The chef is well known for rice but we did not have any of these as I do not eat rice. Great service too!

We stayed at the hotel which I have reviewed separately and we had one evening meal in the restaurant. The dining room is fine with decent sized tables and plenty of space between them. When we went in we were the only customers so the ratio of customers to attentive staff made the service a little oppressive. We explained that... More

We booked into this hotel as our house is being renovated and we wanted some winter luxury. The level of comfort in the junior suite is poor. The tiled floor makes it such that you can hear every bit of sound from above and each side. If I could have recorded the noise you would not believe it! Breakfast ok... More

We were invited by friends to dinner at the El Rodat. It was a fiesta in Javea so we expected the restaurant, which has mainly Spanish clients to be full, it was not, even the bar was more or less "dead". The Hotel is "international" the menu was only available in Spanish, my wife does speak Spanish so she translated.The... More

On our first day in the hotel, we tried the restaurant there and were pleasantly surprised. Very inventive dishes. For starter I had tomato petals without tuna and for me as a semi vegetarian I was very curiosum what a soft boiled egg for the main course could be! IT was One of the best dishes I ever had: a... I would normally avoid most hotel restaurants like the plague, but was very impressed with the food at El Rodat. The resident chef clearly takes his job very seriously, as shown by his focused and well put together menu. We chose the sirloin steak with mustard and ketchup for mains. This was a top notch cut of meat and expertly... More
