We were received in a pleasant and hospitable atmosphere and the air conditioning was humming nicely on this cold evening. Because we really didn't know our way around the extensive menu, we were helped in a pleasant way. The food was excellent and the price including a drink was more than good in terms of value for money. If you do not want to eat food that is too spicy or not, you can simply indicate this. Highly recommended

Loved the food in this place, we always look for a nice place to eat and this hit the spot. Indian with a Nepalese twist is beginning to become my favourite so was pleasantly surprised to find this place when on an overnight stay in Javea. Food was flavoursome and well cooked, I had a Dopiaza and my wife had the garlic chilli dish which she said was excellent. We shall return here next time we are in Javea. The staff were friendly and attentive but not intrusive, and the cost was very reasonable.

I was exceptionally pleased with the quality of the food. We ordered more than we typically do back home and the bill was still quite equitable. Because of the area, I imagine this crew gets a lot of entitled tourists. The way their faces lit up when I thanked them for the meal and commented on its quality was priceless. This is my Indian food spot away from home and I will always return.

We love this restaurant. We are a family of 5 and enjoy the set menu for two plus one other main and side. The set meals comes with drinks for the adults and we can easily eat for around 70 euros. Great value and lovely friendly staff - Thank you.

Spain is renowned for not being the best country to seek out good quality, authentic Indian food. Especially if you like it hot, as the palates of the average Spaniard, prefer, non spicy food. I have attempted many an establishment in my quest to find an all round decent Indian. Some have come close, quite a few are good, many are at best, disappointing. Once you find one, then it's an easy decision to forget about the others, and just keep going back to the one you like best. Today for luncheon, we returned once more, to The Buddha Palace in Javea. A balmy sun kissed day, just a few sleeps before Santa arrives, meant a very pleasant sunny courtyard setting, was the perfect place to sit. 21 degrees of glorious rays, the perfect recharge. To the food, complimentary poppadoms with 4 dips and pickles, while we perused the extensive menu, loaded with Nepalese traditional dishes and lots of specials, as well as all time favourites. To start, chicken tikka puri, a fried chapati loaded with grilled lean tikka, coated in a tomato based, sweet sticky sauce. Topped with toasted sesame seeds and a side salad. Delicious. A mixed platter, to try a little of a few things, was a generous selection of onion bhajis, chicken tikka and kofte kebab, served with a homemade mint relish. Yummy. Lamb Rara, slowly cooked, so much so the lamb pieces were falling apart to the touch, simmered with keema, tomato, mustard seeds, lots of coriander and red chillies. Served vindaloo hot as requested. Scrumptious. Goan chicken came bathed in an aromatic broth of coconut milk, fenugreek, green chillies, fresh ginger, more coriander and mint. A gentle kick from the chilli, balancing out the sweet coconut milk. Yummy. Two sides, one a black daal Makhni, was a delicious dish of lentils cooked in ghee, cream, tomatoes, spices, fresh ginger and garlic and once more lots of fresh coriander. Also, an Aloo Gobi, chunks of potatoes and cauliflower flower florets tossed in an onion, garlic and tomato thick sauce. Great. Keema pilau rice and a tandoor buttered nan, light and flaky and studded with black sesame seeds finished off a wonderful banquet. Far too much food, so a heavy take away bag for another time, no waste with this quality of food. Now here is the extraordinary thing about all this wonderful food. It is only €17.50 per head. The most fantastic value I can remember. Poppadoms, starter, main, side, rice or bread, pudding or coffee, plus a glass of beer or wine for just €17.50. Surly the best value, quality Indian in Spain I think so.

Really nice and well-designed place with incredibly nice workers there. The music was perfect. It was a great lunch for me and my partner as well. There were not many people so the waiters and waitresses could talk to us a bit. Our only problem was that we're vegetarian and a Buddhist place should have more options for vegetarians (since in Buddhism they cannot eat or cause harm to any animal). I don't say that they shouldn't serve any dish with meat in it, I think they should just reduce the amount of meat if they want to be a more realistic Buddhist restaurant. Overall it was a nice lunch, the food was nice and it wasn't expensive.

The four of us had a great meal in the Buddha Palace. We sat outside in the Plaza area which was lovely on a warm evening. The service was excellent and the curries we chose were all very authentic and extremely good value, especially with the extra dishes we were served on the house. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

First time visit and if we’re ever back in the area we will definitely be back. Food was great and service was very friendly and superb. We all had the set menu which was very reasonably priced and even got complimentary drink at the end of our meal.

We visited the budda Palace with family and friends. It had got to be one of the best restaurants we have visited in Javea. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were huge. Calli was a fantastic host and seen to our every need. Options to sit inside or out on the spacious terrace. We could take our dog too! The menu del dia was fantastic value and you can take home what you don't eat at the time.

Very pleasant setting, with a terrace, a small fountain and just a little bit of fresh air. A warm welcome with people who were very attentive to the customers, including the children who were treated to a small lollipop for dessert. And above all it is delicious and very reasonably priced considering the quality and quantity. We didn't know what to take, but if we can give you some advice: let them choose for you. We weren't able to finish it because it was very filling so we were kindly offered to take the leftovers home with us. We were able to enjoy it again for dinner. The best!

Just had a wonderful meal here. The fixed price menu allows you to choose almost any dish on the menu with a starter, side and naan or rice and a drink for approx €20 per person which is great value. We got an enormous amount of food for five of us and all was well cooked and delicious. Efficient service too. There is a large outdoor courtyard at the back which is very comfortable. We will be back again if we can.

We were in Javea on business and decided to lunch at this restaurant. Very pleased that we did. After complimentary papadums and pickles we shared an Onion bhaji for starter (good sized portion and very tasty). We then chose to share a Himali Lamb, a Chicken Methi, Pilau Rice and a paratha. All were delicious and the portions generous. My wife drank water and as I was driving I stuck to Sin Alcol. We were then given complimentary ice creams (vanilla and chocolate chip) a great way to cool the mouth after Madras strength mains. Chupitos ended our meal and the bill (very reasonable) followed. We took enough food away as a doggy bag to feed us another day. Service was friendly and efficient. We´ll be back

This is our local Indian we are lucky enough to live here however we are very aware people do travel from surrounding areas to dine here. We regularly have takeaway and the service is always fabulous but this evening on our way home we called in early and were delighted to see the restaurant was already "alive" The service from this wonderful family run resteraunt is always forst class but this evening had an extra special feel to it . All the girls the family were running things and whilst we love Sonny it was fantastic to see his daughter and the rest of the giles running such a professional service with the most incredible atmosphere. The food was as always divine, there isno better for miles around . Thank you for bringing a perfect day to a perfect end for us.
