This place is pretty good for a Sunday Funday or earlier eats on any given day. The bar service is relatively satisfactory. They have a great selection of brews; I'm not a beer snob, so what do I know? =) I personally liked the Kolsch the best. Right now, they have Monocacy Brewing on tap as well, the Brewtus seemed... Friendly, laid back, excellent food for people who like fresh salads and grilled or blackened fish or chicken. Good options for vegetarian meals. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly service Wonderful late snacks BUT, it's so crowded and noisy on weekend evenings!!!

Very well prepared. More variety than a brew pub. Very friendly and helpful staff. In the middle of things in historic and fun downtown Frederick.

Came with some family. Food was rather bland. Service was way sub par. If I were smarter I would have left, ordered food at another restaurant, ate, came back, then been in time to cancel my order. Yes. It took that long.

In town for business and I stopped in after work. I sat at a window seat in the bar, which was perfect for people watching. I had the crab cakes and the dessert special (peach & blackberry crisp) both exceeded my expectations. The service was fast and friendly.

Wait staff was attentive and promptly seated us. I ordered the spaghetti squash and it was served fresh and was delicious! The sauce was also very good!

I have been here many times, the food is really good, the beer is average, and sometimes the service is hit or miss. I really don't like to bash anyone's business, I always like to look at the good, and this place has really good food and a really nice atmosphere. They are working on returning the brewing containers to... More

Met friends here for a bite before the Keys baseball game. Between 4 of us we had a burger, bbq sandwich, power salad, chicken tenders. All were tasty. Had the jalapeño cheese pretzel for an appetizer but that was just ok. Parts of it were hard. Service was good.

I'm spoiled to live in Colorado with some of the best craft breweries and brewpubs in the country. Went to Brewers Alley for a drink before dinner at Volt. I ordered the IPA and the girlfriend had the Kolsch. Both were just okay. Easily drinkable but nothing memorable about them. Also ordered the housemade BBQ chips which were just okay.... More

By growing this restaurant to gargantuan proportions, they have lost touch with the details that make dining out a pleasure. Once ordered, 45 minutes to receive a salad and a wrap. The power salad, of which sesame seeds would be considered a main ingredient, contained no sesame seeds. The kitchen, it turns out, was out, but did not bother to... More
