We had 15 different tapas dishes for our party of four with Sangaria. Each dish was tasty and we would happily have each again. If there is a downside, some of the dishes had a very, very modest portion (a plus for those watching weight).

I had never before experienced a tapas restaurant and I really enjoyed it, mainly because I like variety. There are a TON of plates to choose from, almost too many and it was a hard decision. There were a lot of foods I wasn't familiar with but I asked questions. Everything was really good. They suggest you get 3-4 plates... More

My husband and I went here for the night of our anniversary. I'm one of those people who reads menus like men "read" Victoria's Secret magazines and it took me almost half an hour to decide on the thing to get for an appetizer. We started with (and ended with, but that's part of the joy) goat cheese and almond... More

First dining experience this weekend at Isabella's at the recommendation of a friend. Enjoyed cured salmon with white truffle and calamari tapas along with paella and a glass of sangria. Both tapas and paella were plenty for the two of us to share. The paella was outstanding and the sangria was very flavorful (and not on the sweet side). The... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend and we also wanted a place that took reservations on Sunday. We ordered a variety of food and everything was delicious! If you like spice and food that is not your average dishes like most restaurants, I would chose Isabella's. I had the salad with smoked trout and brie. It was... More

We stopped in just for dessert after seeing the six small bowls of ice cream. Delicious! The wait staff was friendly and accomodating. Ice cream was very good.

I came here with a very good friend for a relaxed dinner. Our server, Brian, was excellent. He patiently took us through the menu with good suggestions and kept checking on our needs; service could not have been better! Food was good; some very good - we particularly liked the paella, served in a tapas-sized portion. The feta and watermelon... More

I've heard alot about Isabella's, but was not all that imprssed. It's located in the heart of Fredericks downtown restaurant and bar scene and it's probably better to go for the bar scene at night. The food was not all that impressive, but weekend nights it's jammed packed with dancing and lively night life.

My family dined at Isabella's for the first time while on a day trip to Frederick. Our server, while friendly, was unfamiliar with the menu and could not pronounce many of the menu items. My wife, who was born and Spain and visits frequently, tried the paella. To be generous, just because you mix rice and seafood in the pan... More

Stopped for lunch and got the tapas lunch special - 3 tapas for $10.99. I had the breaded, fried asparagus - very tasty and the sauce is great. Also had the mac and cheese which was very good. On the menu they had sizzling shrimp but I asked if they could make that with squid and they did. Very accommodating.... More
