Always at the top of my list when family or friends are visiting Frederick. Love to get several items and share with the table. Food is excellent, service has always been too. The fried Brussels sprouts are a must.

If you are a food and you enjoy fabulous Greek food, Ayse is the perfect place for you. Either lunch or dinner you can't go wrong. The service is exceptional and the food is incredible. You will even have a choice of ambiance. There is terrace seating, casual dining or romantic. Wherever you end up sitting, you will love Ayse.

Frederick's food scene is nothing short of amazing, not because it's a small city, but because it's home to so many really great restaurants. And Ayse is... oh my, just sensational. My wife and I ordered too much, but you really can't do that here. You can order more than you can finish, and that gives you all the more... More

Having never done Greek food and tapas only a few times I was looking forward to a new adventure. Well that is exactly what it was, a culinary adventure. Grilled Brussel spouts, flambeed cheese, succulent lamb, and my wife says THE best baclava she has ever had (and trust me she tries it everywhere) if she says its the best... More

Since we have very few ethnic restaurants where we live, other than Italian and Tex-mex, which are everywhere, we wanted to sample some Mediterranean dishes at Ayse (eye-sha). It's quite interesting and also quite pricey. The small plates/tapas were an interesting mix of Greek, Lebanese and Turkish dishes. We had hummus, even though we have that pretty often, Turkish cigars... More

Lucky to catch a beautiful keening and had dinner on the terrace. Many vegetarian options, and the kids were happy!

I called in a to-go order to this restaurant on my way home from seeing some wineries. The first person I spoke to (who answered after one ring) transferred me to the bar where I placed my order. He asked the right questions and though a little confused at one point (I used the name on the menu but he... More

Per recommendation of our friend, we had lunch here on 4.7.2017. It is located near historic Frederick. We ordered sampler of dips, sampler of grilled meats, calamari, oyster, saganaki or flaming cheese dish, grilled brussel sprouts, and crab dish. For desserts, we ordered 3 different kinds and shared them among us. Total of these delicious foods, desserts and beverages amounted... More

We had a great feast. It was a business meeting for six with many dishes shared. The food was great with many raving about the kabobs. I like the three kabob sampler plate as it was tough to choose. Very nice flavors.

We found this place by accident (which is hard to do given the location) when in town hungry and weary from the day. Being Gluten Free makes me less adventurous when trying new places. Was please to find a beautiful building, accommodating menu friendly staff, and an above average atmosphere. Prices were spot on, food was real and cannot say... More
