I had two guests for lunch and they suggested Family Meal. First time I had heard of this restaurant. Airy/spacious and lots of windows. Bright with cement floor and when full, I can imagine it is NOISY. Love the light provided by the windows. I...More

The restaurant is very clean and nice. The focus on their fried chicken which is just good at best. The prices are very high and portions are not as great. You'll love the Popeys chicken much better.

Southern style shrimp and grits!! Super, duper delicious! Known for the fried chicken, I didn't think it was super duper, but it was good. Great sprouts and veggie sides, chicken pot pie fritters! This time everything was really delicious. My only complaint, not really, is...More

We had a delicious breakfast here. It's not a place to go if you are watching calories or want light lowfat fare. This is an old time diner with delicious food much of which is fried. The home fries were especially delicious.

Once again I am disappointed by a celebrity chef's restaurant. We went on a Saturday afternoon. We had reservations and were seated quickly. Our waiter recommended the duck fat fried potatoes with the dipping sauces. But our french fries came in 1/2 inch pieces, making...More

The meatloaf was delicious and creamy but not greasy. I felt that the portion was sufficient but maybe lacking just a slight bit. Unlike many restaurants, the meal was not doused with sodium to substitute for taste. The food quality was good and meals were...More

Was told that it was good food. Well it was awesome. Hands down best fries. Sabacha dipping sauce was amazing. Burger was good... Not best I've had. Only negative remark was size of the waiting area. Will definitely be there again

Chef Bryan Voltaggio's modern American diner offers affordable all-day meals in a former Frederick car dealership transformed by clever design and raw, natural materials into an open, airy space, with a long counter fronting an open kitchen; its menu elevates the comfort-food canon, while adult beverages include boozy milkshakes as well as wine, beer and cocktails. Signature dishes include Fried Chicken with Buttermilk Biscuits, Meatloaf with Mushroom Gravy and Duck Fat Fried Potatoes.
