Wasn't planning to stop, but one of the kids was hungry while out shopping. The kid had sandwich de pollo (he thought it was excellent). I had the tostones and maduros. I usually judge Latin food on how well they fix these two staples, and they didn't disappoint. I would've liked to have tried the yuca frita too, but was... More

The secret to Sabor is that the owner uses his grandmother's recipes to provide an authentic taste of Cuba. Outside of Miami, this is the best Cuban food I have had. The entrees are all fabulous, but be sure to save some room for Café Cubano and a flan to share. It is an all around wonderful experience.

Excellent customer service. The boiled yuca appetizer was fresh but a little bland. The shrimp entree was fresh and creamy with steamed rice and refreshing garnishment. The flank steak was well seasoned and a marvelous chew. Great dessert to top it off. I can't wait to visit this place again.

Sabor de Cuba is a hidden gem in Frederick. The service is great, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is fun!!! My husband and I went here on a date night on a random Saturday evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We tried the specialty cocktails (spicy margarita and a fruit mojito) and thought they were great! We also tried... More

I was working late one day so I decided to have dinner at this place since it's near the office. I ordered a normal steak with rice dinner. It came out with maduros on top. I did not like it (it was a thought) so I put it aside and finished my dinner. The steak and rice were great, tasty... More

Well prepared cuisine with authentic flavors. The service was excellent. My only complaint was how loud it was. A bit difficult to have a conversation.

My husband and I took visiting friends here for dinner. Looking at the other diners' plates, we ladies concluded that the portions were huge! We therefore ordered two appetizers each and the gents each ordered entrees. The sizzling shrimp appetizer is spectacular. Our friends are conducting a nation-wide search for the best mojito and took this opportunity for more research.... More

Went there for Sunday afternoon lunch, so business was constant, but not crowded or noisy. The pernil was a fabulous, tasty pork dish that was both crispy and tender, served with plantains that you can order either savory or sweet. Even the rice was flavorful. The special was camarónes con crema (shrimp with cream), which was also served with plantains... More

Very tasty and delicious, quality food. The portions are large and fulfilling. The service was quick and attentive. The only reason it's not a 5 out of 5 for me is because of the humidity in the restaurant itself. It lacks a/c and they have small fans throughout the restaurant but still not enough to cool you down from the... More
