I've been going to this Italian Restaurant for years and before they opened in Prince Frederick in their Dunkirk location. For the most part the food is always good - no surprises. Over the years changes in Chef's have The service is fast, friendly and efficient. The portions are very large and I always get another meal or two from... More

I walk in this establishment anticipating the true Italian experience. I ordered the veal parm which came with salad and bread. The salad was fine. The bread was dry, slightly burnt and served with small frozen "land of lakes" butter tubs. By the time the veal was served the bread had become a brick! The portion size of the Veal... More

A nice little Italian restaurant with meeting rooms. Food is good and service is good as well. Not too loud and also family friendly.

Food is good but pricey especially the "Specials" Nothing special about the value there. One of the only Italian places in the county to go.

This is the first and only time I've eaten there. I was not impressed. Food was not good and the waitress barely even acknowledged us.

Food used to be better. Owners expanding to add a third restaurant and are letting the Prince Frederick location go downhill. Staff " hanging" out in dining room, lazy bartender that is too busy chewing to greet patrons. Menu is tired and quality has slipped markedly. Waste of money.

I will qualify this by saying even though the service was great the food was not even edible. We had chicken and eggplant parm. Both were tasteless. The chicken was dry, the eggplant was a scary gray gooey mess. The appetizers were okay but also tasteless. Overall were were very unsatisfied with the food.

I've eaten at nearly every pizza place in Calvert and Mama Lucia is by far the best! My husband and I go to Mama Lucia at least twice a month for our Friday date night after a long work week. The service is excellent and the food delicious! I've tried a few other items on the menu, which have all... More

I relocated from Long Island NY 10 Years ago. Lucia us only Italian good in Southern MD. Food is vg. Prices are low. Staff is friendly. Owner Sal and son Rocco are good guys all around.
