This is my go-to restaurant for out of town visitors. Service is always top notch-we've sat at the bar during snowstorms; arrived at the peak of Sunday brunch; the dinner hour and for a late afternoon lunch-thus far we haven't been able to fault the hostess desk, the bartenders, the wait and bus staff. All have been charming-even with my... More

Downtown Frederick is really neat and Firestone's restaurant is terrific. We had read (on Trip Advisor) that the eggs benedict were great. But also the pastrami sandwich is a specialty. They have an item on the menu (can't remember what it's called) that combines poached eggs, potatoes, pastrami (probably some other ingredients).....outstanding! Service was fabulous and everyone made you feel... More

Love the restaurant's loft, large windows over looking Market Street. Decor is wood. Nice entree selection which is very good. Space between tables for privacy.

We had brunch at Firestone's several weeks ago. I almost always order eggs Benedict for brunch, so I ordered them. They were truly the best eggs Benedict ever. Highly recommend Firestone's, especially for brunch.

We had no reservations but were greeted pleasantly and seated immediately. Although a little pricey the quality of the food is worth every penny. Squash blossoms were out of this world and the hangar steak and double pork dishes were also fabulous. The servers were attentive without being overbearing and truly concerned that our dinner was an outstanding experience. I... More

My wife got the seared scallops and creme Brule. I got a pastrami sandwich and homemade ice cream. Best pastrami ever! The desserts were incredible! We will return.

Dinner for 4. Fine food and service - linen tablecloths, etc. Excellent Wait staff. Delicious scallops and excellent steak. Tomato salad excellent as well as garden salad. Very vibrant bar scene downstairs - a times very noisy. Nicely decorated.

Dropped in for lunch on a Saturday and really enjoyed the whole experience. Great atmosphere, clean, open floor plan and nice long bar. Very inviting overall with friendly staff and really good service. Three of us sat in a window seat on the second level and ordered a burger, pastrami sandwich and a BLT. All food was excellent and prepared... More

Firestone's is definitely a place worth visiting while in Frederick. The inside includes a bar/tavern area on the main floor as well as second floor "balcony" seating that overlooks the main floor. I was seated at a table on the second floor overlooking Market St. which added to the overall experience. My party had the scallops and the hanger steak.... More

We enjoy visiting Frederick occasionally and almost always have lunch at the Firestone Restaurant. It is a very old building with very unique interior finishings, and very attractive. The best tables are upstairs along the windows. The wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly....we've never had an issue there. The menu is somewhat limited and eclectic, so sometimes it's a great... Firestone's Culinary Tavern, opened in 1999, is located in downtown Frederick's picturesque Historic District. It is housed in a 1921 building that was initially the home of Shipley's Department Store. The restaurant combines outstanding cuisine with the casual atmosphere of a neighborhood tavern. The Washington Post says, "the atmosphere is prime...the food is, too!".
