We eat here whenever we visit Barstow. The food is great and the employees are welcoming and efficient. Love their burgers.

We were three. I had the menudo (day special), my friends ordered a pastrami sandwich combo and a steak. All were cooked perfectly and as asked, food was plenty and the price was really low for the quality and quantity. The 70s feeling of the place was original and not kitschy, we liked it.

Had a bacon and avocado burger and my wife had a chilli burger. Both were filling and good. Fries were a nice surprise as they were NOT covered in salt which seems to be the norm at a lot of places.

I was there with my boyfriend Saturday September 24, 2016, between 11:30am-12pm. We ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger combo and a Double Bacon Cheeseburger combo, both w/o Dressing, Rootbeers and two sides of Ranch Dressing. So our order is brought to us but neither is a double and both are smothered in dressing. My boyfriend takes them both back, letting them... More

I dig this place I've had the, Philly cheese steak, gyro sandwich, and the fries. Four different times. Food is excellent ,the portions are large to say the least. I wish I would have got a picture of the first Philly cheesesteak I got. it was overflowing out the sides and they give me a fork for all the extras.... More

Tom's Burgers is exactly like your local burger stand! They offer the typical fare of Hamburgers, Onion Rings, Chili Fries, etc. The food is good and the service is quick. The staff here are great and friendly. If you are hungry and don't want to wait that long AND you want that hometown burger you are use to, this is... More

Stopped at Tom's while passing through Barstow for a quick bite to eat. Place is larger than it looks from the outside and the inside it's definitely old school. But despite the out dated decor the burger was pretty darn good. Give it a try, you might be surprised.

I went to Tom’s Burgers for breakfast. The place is a little old, but by Route 66 standards, it’s brand new. The lady that took my order was friendly and polite. I ordered the Colorado Omelet. Overall not bad, well-cooked by an actual line cook, the kind of guy that wears a paper hat. The hash browns were good, crispy... More

Driving from the Grand Canyon to Los Angeles, we stopped to spend the night at a motel right down Main Street and decided to try this for dinner instead of a national chain fast food restuarant. Tom's is certainly better and has more variety of menu choices than the typical chain fast food. The servers were nice and professional. Food... More

After a long days drive we checked in at the motel down the road then headed out for some dinner and this is the first place we came upon. Our first sign that this was not the best place in town was the lack of cars outside and people inside but we were hungry and tired and just said heck... More
