We were on a cross country road trip and experienced what thankfully turned out to be superficial car trouble. While having the car serviced, we spent the night in the Quality INN Hotel and ate dinner and breakfast in the Los Domingos restaurant that’s connected to it.
We are not fans of lodging in hotels with doors that are accessible from the parking lot, so we asked for a room that was accessible from the courtyard. There was never a feeling of being unsafe and we all had a good night’s rest. The food was excellent, and the personnel was second to none. They easily ran circles around all the other restaurants that we patronized during our trip.
If you are ever in Barstow California, I would highly recommend Los Domingos Restaurant and Lounge. Word of advice, change your engine and cabin air filters before traveling through the desert.

We enjoy walking to Los Domingos from our hotel room in the same building. This is a busy restaurant and bar facility connected to the Quality Inn on Route 66 in Barstow. We were not overly hungry so we selected our dinner off the appetizer menu and soups. Good choice, as the dishes were large and well presented.

This was the only place we ate in Barstow - 2 dinners and 1 breakfast. The dinner staff was a bit slow (on the second night, our server walked past us 5 times without acknowledging us. The 5th time, she actually paused and kept walking.) but the breakfast staff was cheerful and quick. The eggs were properly cooked (not to tough, not runny). The menu is typical of a traditional breakfast - not fancy, but all the usual options. The tables were clean, but the surface was peeling. That didn't affect the quality, but it was a little tacky.

Had been traveling all day and inquired about the restaurant at the Quality Inn we were staying at. The person at the desk said it is very popular and always busy. So thought we would take a chance rather than driving any more. What a great decision.
The place was noisier than we prefer with some loud piped music and loud talking. We were seated off to the side of the room, so that helped. My husband gets cold easily and the air conditioning was quite low! The food choices were many and hard to make a decision. He chose a chicken dish and I had a shrimp dish. We were both extremely happy with our choices. The portions were huge and very reasonable prices. Will definitely stop there again when in Barstow.

Los Domingos Mexican Restaurant in Barstow, California was recommended by the Hotel staff. What a great recommendation! Our combination dinners were very good. The only drawback was that the restaurant was very busy and we had to wait for a long time for a booth for the two of us.

Stopped here for dinner while en route from Arizona to Ventura County. The menu offered more options than we typically see at similar restaurants. We were glad to see a broad array of seafood based dishes. We had an order of Salmon enchiladas and a plate of Tequila Lime Salmon and Shrimp. Enjoyed these a lot, and we were just barely able to finish our portions. A huckleberry margarita sounded interesting (as we recently came from a vacation in Montana where the huckleberry is abundant) – though this offering was on the sweet side and more reminiscent of Kool Aid vs Huckleberry, but add some tequila and all is ok, eh? We had friendly and super service by Chelsea – thanks! A good selection for dinner.

I would give this a 5 for for food. I’m giving it a 1 for not following mask orders and county orders. The restaurant had people inside eating. I picked up my food and the woman taking my credit card had her mask below her nose. In front of me was a man without a mask paying for his food. At the very least, your employees should wear masks properly and make sure your customers are wearing a mask while not eating.

Based in a motel so not the most appealing of locations! This place is busy, very busy with lots of locals eating here which is always a good sign. The food was really good and huge portions, lots of people taking their leftovers home with them.

After a 8 hour drive and stay at the hotel, we decided to have dinner here at Los Domingos. A decor was nicely done. Once we were seated, our waitperson was there asking what drinks we wanted., the after a couple minutes we had our drinks and had decided what we wanted. I had "Ron's Special" and my spouse had Arroz con Pollo. Both dishes were very good and LARGE portions. Waitstaff was great too. We also had breakfast and it was very good as well.

We stayed in Barstow and were happy to hang and chill on site at the hotel restaurant for dinner. Relaxed with great food and drinks. Breakfast was great also. Servers and bartenders were attentive and personable. Would come back again.

Karissa is a great waitress and bartender. Always on top of getting everyone orders on time. The food is good and this place seemed like the only place in Barstow that was open at 8pm.
Have the Mango Chamoy margarita.

I know it’s in California but the food is what I’d consider Tex-Mex style. I had the suizas enchiladas and they were great. Hubs had the soft tacos and he liked them as well. Not 5 stars because their top shelf margarita was just ok. Too sweet and they use extruded ice which melts faster. But all in all, would be a regular there if we lived nearby (passing through).

Didn't know what to expect in this desert town, but we wanted something quick and inexpensive. Los Domingos was just up the road from our motel and due to COVID, everyone was seated outside. Not in a parking lot, but on the grass of the interior courtyard area of a motel. It was delightful! Weather cooperated, food was quite good and service prompt. No complaints.

We stopped in Barstow before heading to Las Vegas. This restaurant is always a great place. After we checked in to our room we headed to the restaurant. First of all it was going to be about an hour wait. No problem we can wait in the car. But, after looking in the restaurant, no social distance at all packed and everyone waiting close to everyone. We didn’t put our name in, instead we went to the car and placed a “to go” order. We waited 30 minutes and got a great meal.
Pandemic life you have to be flexible.

Been to Los Domingos several times when passing through Barstow. ALWAYS delicious food and quick friendly service. Popular place and we can understand why. Look forward to coming back and having the veggie enchiladas again!
