We ate out 7 nights/lunches and this was the most expensive and worst meal we had......It wasn't terrible, it was just massively overpriced for what it was.....

Great place for a lunch during a beach day at one of the best beaches in Costa Brava, Aiguablava. Just besides the sea with wonderful views. Average food quality a little bit overpriced. You pay mainly for the location.

We were there last Saturday for lunch time and we were astonished abt the quality of the food. We had grilled sardines and a salad for starters. Both excellent in quantity, quality and execution, We had a local White fish grilled my wife and I of almost 1 kg. It was really soft, delicate, so simple, so tasty. Desserts also... More

I cant complain about the food because it's good! We had sardines to start and prawns all really nice .... But boy do these beachfront places see you coming. Service is poor, you feel like they are doing you a favour it's appalling. My sister asked what cheeses were on the chessboard- the waiter replied cheese! With a bill totalling... More

Very disappointed - food floating in oil - mass market oriented. Paid for the food but hardly ate any of it. In fairness the owner was prepared to discount the food order but I insisted in paying for the full order but will not be revisiting. The staff were however very pleasant.

Went there to celebrate my birthday and looking forward to go back there again on another special occasion. The food was great, we ordered different starters to share instead of only a starter and a main. The seafood was fresh and tasty, very well cooked and all dishes had a plus that you do not usually get in ordinary restaurants.... More

Very good restaurant, in front of the beach of Aiguablava (blue water) in Begur. A fantastic place to go with your couple, friends or family. Seafood of the day.

we spend a lot of our summertime in Aiguablava, and last uear Toc al Mar was a small beach restaurant with a 'simpatico' menu, visited it 2 weeks ago while in the area to discover they have taken the restaurant opposite them as well, which should not be a problem, but my impression was that the quality of the food... Had some very good food, mussels and Paella but service was very per functionary and not particularly friendly. Noticed that those diners who were Spanish were looked after with a little more attention, probably due to language barrier. Would go back just for the Paella
