Wonderful food, a fabulous experience. I will never forget the lemon sorbet, and the enormous plate of fried calamares.

We ate here twice on our two week holiday. On both occasions the seafood was very fresh in particular the fish on the menu del dia. We thought the portions were very generous and the service was excellent on both occasions.

Service was attentive ( we were the only ones there on an off season night). The paella was too salty, runny and without a whole lot of seafood. To be fair, I think this is the way Catalans like their paella as we ran into similar fare at other places. If you are a fan of Valencian seafood paella, just... More

While the salad was very good, the paella was only so-so. But the desserts . . . delectable! Chocolate lava cake definitely pushed up the rating!

Were drawn in walking past and stopped here for lunch while visiting the town. Classic old school stone low roof inside, with a wonderful selection of Catalan food with a very adequate, small, well priced wine selection and bottled sangria. We started with delicious plump mussels marinara and the steamed clams. A perfect app course while we enjoyed a bottle... More

This is a small family restaurant popular with locals; we had very fine roast duck and good Catalan Crianza house wine for less than $30 each. Located in center of a pretty town just off the small square.

We kinda stumbled on this restaurant when we were looking for a place to eat. To be honest, the aspect of the restaurant itself isn't the most modern or very classy, it just looks like an old house with a quite old fashioned style. But forget about all that. The food, and specially all the seafood, couldn't be any fresher,... More

went out for a meal a day or so before new year. The restaurant was obviously running everything down and could not be bothered. Instead of taking money off people in this situation, they should just close early. We were given menus, ordered, and then informed what was not available. The tapas to start was fine...nothing special..in fact, maybe below... More

Arriving late in the early evening at our hotel and after checking in we were directed to Sa Caleta because we said we wanted fresh fish. On this Sa Caleta delivered -- although sauces were decidedly salty. As others have noted, the service leaves something to be desired. Also, we passed on the house aperitif offered after the meal.

A 1960's Birmingham style Spanish restaurant with poor service, and decidedly average food. They served my wife's main course, and mine 20 minutes later after I had asked the waiter twice for my meal, and having been told 'Wait' on the second occasion. It came, having obviously stood under the heat lamps in the kitchen. Plus, as we sat eating,... More
