Located opposite the Concord train station, this place is a great stop for a quality slice of quiche, some alcohol, coffee and dessert. Is it perfect? No, it is not but it is very very good and probably the best option at its price point in the area.

Casual dining, quick service, wide choice of sandwiches and other light luncheon fare. A popular place with the discerning locals.

An extensive selection of pastries, breads, and salads. The staff is very nice and its a bit expensive but tasty. Great for a lunch or snack.

Two coffee choices: Caf and decaf, and the coffee is perfect every time. Local, authentic, not a Venti/Grande pretend-to-be-real chain store. Great deli, seating is cheerful. Pastries and deserts "wicked" good. My favorite morning stop, when I can get there...

We've watched this place grow over the years from a tiny take-out shop to a seriously fine place to sit and eat lunch, or to collect everything you need for an exceedingly French dinner at home. The proprietor Robert (ROH-bare, of course) runs a tight ship, even to hiring staff who can manage a decent conversation in French with the... More

The food here is good, mostly freshly made - they even make their own mayonnaise! But I have seen the owner speak meanly and harshly to workers - there is turnover. Nobody should be treated like crap and here - they do that. I don't like that. So, I rarely eat here, except when a friend wants to.

It's too open for me to be very comfy eating here but it's the perfect place to pick up a pricey perfectly concocted prepared dish to take home and heat up. GREAT chicken.

La Provence is always reliable. The food is fresh and tasty. It is a local place so the ambience is not high end but it is functional. The quiche and the lentil salad are exquisite as is the bread.

La Provence has maintained its presence and quality as other food purveyors have come and gone. Their fresh baked bread is the best.

La Provence is a jewel located across from the RR station. You order at the counter and you can eat there or take your food out. The food is fresh and delicious especially the desserts. The menu is limited with sandwiches, quiches, soup, various salads, and drinks It is a wonderful place to meet friends.
