After a very hot morning of immersion into the "shot heard around the world"... and learning to "muster....march...and pretend shooting".. We had lunch at the Colonial Inn where Sam Adams and his Sons of Liberty hung out, and hid their arms. We all had one of the burgers with French Fried Sweet Potatoes...Yummo!... It's one of those burgers too big... More

We went to The colonial Inn with friends to Celebrate our Anniversary. We ate in the Merchants Row Dining Room. We had an excellent waiter and he recommended different dishes and wine. I ordered the Yankee Pot Roast which was outstanding. Everyone ordered something different and we all enjoyed our food, wine and desserts. The Atmosphere is historic and very... More

Spent two afternoons here recently. Love the atmosphere. Both meals were delicious. Especially the salmon burger. Very tasty. Denise was so lovely and helped us watch the Euro Soccer final even though the tv room bar wasn't open. She couldn't have been more helpful and sweet. Love the old tavern setting which has been kept in great condition but holds... More

The History of The Inn combined with the excellent food and service make this a must stop for anyone wanting a wonderful experience. If possible, get a table on the patio so that you can enjoy both the food and the view.

We stopped to get a glass of lemonade during our Concord tour. It was a little expensive, but it was real good.

Came in near end of breakfast service, only two other diners yet the staff treated us like royalty. That was a nice touch! Great old room, well thought out breakfast menu, tasty offerings. For out-of-towners on a tour of the colonies it was a picture perfect experience. Wonderful waitress made the whole meal extra special. Thank you very much.

Always my favorite place if I want an informal place to eat and drink and enjoy the vibe of Concord. In the heart of Concord and never had a bad experience. Go out and experience the old pub. Goes back a couple of centuries.

The outside venue and weather for lunch with friends was perfect. My lobster roll was decidedly not. Overpriced at $24, it was completely tasteless. The Redcoats would have retreated. I cannot fathom how they ruined it, but they did. Not wanting to upset my friends, I waited to contact them by email, also leaving my contact info, but received no... More

The chicken pot pie was very delicious and they let me substitute green beans for a kale/brussels sprouts dish that was fantastic.

After a visit to the Concord Museum, our retired teachers group enjoyed a lovely lunch at the historic Colonial Inn. The varied menu full of traditional New England fare plus several gourmet options of appetizers, salads and entrees made it difficult to choose. But when the amazing warm cornbread and fresh hot rolls were brought to the table, everyone decided... More
