Surprisingly good

I was pleasantly surprised by my lunch/brunch here in this historical location. The ambiance is colonial. The food was quite good for everyone in my large group. Some ordered the bunch whiles others ordered off the menu. The brunch was pricey but included shrimp, meats, and fish as well as... read more

History, history, history. You want to say you've been there. the food is fine, the atmosphere is very "Daughters of the American Revolution." Everybody should go there once!

My favorite spot in Concord -- quaint place to grab lunch on the outside balcony, a beverage while Christmas shopping, place to take out of town visitors for great dining in historical setting

I went for lunch with friends around Christmas. The menu had many new choices. I got a kale salad with dressing on the side and it was very good. Not like the old Colonial Inn where even the rice tasted burned one time. The gingerbread house contest and the poinsettia tree gave it a great holiday mood. Even though I... More

We had heard that new chef was livening up the menu and after a hiatus of 20 years we returned. It was very nice. Loved the pointsetta tree and the decorations. The food was good but not creative as are two other restaurants in Concord that we really enjoy. The waiter was attentive and helpful.

6 of us decided to try the Colonial Inn for our work party. Parking was tricky but easier if you carpool. The outside decor is so pretty with Holiday reds and greens. Inside was like stepping back in time. There is a poinsettia tree that is just amazing, tables with handcrafted Gingerbread houses and overall Holiday feel you look for... More

I recently celebrated a friend's 50th birthday in the lovely and cozy Village Forge Tavern with approximately 20 friends. The holiday ambiance and incredibly helpful waitstaff made for a wonderful evening for all. We enjoyed the food and beverages as well.....thank you very much!!!

I have been to the Colonial Inn many times during my lifetime. However I have not been there for several years and was very pleased with the quality of the meal and the enhancements that this made to the interior of the Inn. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We went for lunch and had wonderful sandwiches... More

My wife, daughter & son-in-law stopped in the Liberty Dining Room of the Colonial Inn after visiting the shops in Concord. We were seated promptly. The server was friendly and efficient. The steamed mussels appetizer was excellent, as were the "Brussels Bites" (brussels sprouts wrapped in bacon and grilled. The bouillabaisse was fantastic, as was the poached salmon over risotto....
