We pulled up to the front of the store and walked into a labyrinth of cheese, wine, sandwich bar, and other gourmet food items that seemed to overwhelm the senses and the small square footage of the store. a sommelier was there who I quickly...deduced was the owner due to his exceptional knowledge of the half-liter and full bottles of wine. As I said, the store is small, but the variety was amazing. He may have had only one or maybe two of each bottle out on the shelves, but he described each one as though they were long time friends. I've never had such an educational experience regarding vino. The cheese selection was also enormous and the staff knowledgeable and available to offer suggestions. We ordered two sandwiches from a crowded corner of the shop and they were quickly prepared and wrapped. They turned out to be delicious with the wine we selected on a picnic on the grounds of the Minute Man National Historical Park. Great day in and around Concord!More

Not just a famous cheese shoppe, but lo and behold (after 20 years living in the area) I came here for LUNCH to get sandwiches to go. VERY good fresh sandwiches, nice menu, and great deli. Everything's fresh and freshly made too! There is seating...inside for about 10 people (small) so don't show up expecting to sit for lunch if it's busy. Great spot, will return!More

I've written about The Cheese Shop before, and nothing much has changed. One of the best cheese selections--if not THE best--in the Boston area. Fantastic choice for lunch or picnic food if you're visiting. But I wanted to highlight two things that are also worthy...of notice. One is the olive mix--the freshest, best olives around, bar none--you can't get better. Second are the marinated goat cheese buttons--tons of garlic, really good olive oil, peppercorns and parsley. With an Iggy's baguette (also sold here) and some wine from the other half of the store, you're all set!More

This comprehensive cheese shop is a quintessential local merchant, and home of the big cheese round. Worth a special visit.

After viewing Concord historical sites, we stopped in here to get snacks for the road. It all looked so good we decided to buy enough food to have dinner in rooms at our B&B. Cheese samples helped us decide on choices. Several salads were delicious:...lobster, chicken, orzo. Wine samples were offered too - check! Glad we stopped in.More

A great store for cheese, wine and specialty beer, this is managed by local people. They are friendly and knowledgeable. I also go there frequently for lunch. Their sandwiches are excellent.

For decades the Cheese Shop has been offering cheeses from around the world -- and serving up education, while bringing variety and expertise to all who trigger the bell on the door when entering the shop. It's quality has not diminished, nor has its ambiance...and credibility as a knowledgeable purveyor of cheeses, wines and great noshing.More

I have been going to the Cheese Shop of Concord for over 40 years, it's an institution in town. Each December the Cheese Shop buys a huge wheel of Crucolo Cheese and then it is paraded through town. The cheese selections are wide ranging and...they also feature special items like hand made butter from Normandy. here is a large curated selection of wine and beer - it's not your big box wine store and you'll find only quality offerings. There is also a deli serving sandwiches, special salads, soups and other delectable things. Dont miss a chance to visit (they are closed Sunday and Monday)More

We did the same as tinaNtravel. We bought our lunch, walked down the street to a little park and ate it there on a bench.
