It is like walking into a timeless portal. First there is a giant fortress as the whole area is filled with cultural history. Opposite the fortress walls is a small door (for Hobbits). Through this door is a cavern of rooms filled with tables and a fire place in the corner at the entrance. The food is not inexpensive. You... More

Nice friendly can do greeting. First morning we were staying we went by and they don't really do breakfast but they made some really good cappuccinos (I'm fussy about coffee) and a delicious nougar confection that was wonderfully light. Encouraged by that we went back the next day for lunch. Wine is priced at 1.5x what you can buy at... More

I came here with a friend for lunch, out of season, on a Thursday, and yet it was busy. The restaurant is very good for meat and fish eaters. We ate marinated octopus, baby cuttlefish, veal cheeks and wild boar stew. That's a pretty awesome sounding meal. What we didn't order was a mixed local fish grill and roasted oxtail,... More

We stopped off here during a cycling holiday and it was fantastic. There was a festival on also that added to the atmosphere. It had many local dishes and would recommend the squid and the wild boar stew. We cycled slower after lunch and wine! Would love to return one day.

We found this restaurant on our last night in Spain and booked an outside table for our family of eleven. The service was very good with all eleven dishes being delivered hot and reasonable close together so food didn't get cold whilst we waited for everyone to get served and the food itself was outstanding. My wife and I shared... More

Every summer we go to Ibèric with some friend to enjoy "fideus amb bogavante", kind of delicious noodles with lobster. Starters are great: sipionetes (small squids), salad of tomato &tuna. Home made desserts cannot be missed! Food is honest and delicious and the service is friendly. From my point of view, one of the best restaurants in la Costa Brava.

We got engaged on our September trip to Ullastret and decided to treat ourselves to a romantic meal. This restaurant was great. The weather was lovely and we sat outside with champagne. The food was lovely and waiting staff were very attentive. We will definitely return.

Ullastret is a small mediaeval village, hosting this charming restaurant . A little surprised to see so few customers , but the staff were friendly , helpful and can provide advice in several languages . A good selection of both fish and meat dishes, generally copious . The house wine is attractive in quality and price !

Ullastret is a small town with an amazing producer. My husband and I were gobsmacked from this beautiful little place. We sat on the terrace with only one other table....not knowing that the entirety of the inside was full. It's no wonder! Being able to get a small bottle of wine (500 ml) was good thinking, considering most people would... More
