We reviewed Nola once before when it was below street level on the Calle Mayor and rather claustrophobic. It has now moved to a fine new location in the historic Casa del Doncel and serves excellent food to match this dignified and tastefully decorated historic setting. This has been a huge improvement. It is a little further from the Parador,... More

I had lunch at this wonderful restaurant with my family and my husband. The food is impecable, mixing the best of traditional Spanish cuisine with a great degree of elaboration and care on the recipes. Service could improve, they need to get some of the basics right (ie changing your cutlery after the starter is finished) but they are polite,... More

I went to Nola with my family on a weekend, we tried the two types of menus they offer and both of them were incredibly tasty and well presented. They cook the best traditional spanish dishes in a very original way. The desserts were also delicious. The restaurant is very atmospheric, placed in an old medieval building near to the... More

We decided to eat here after reading other reviews on Trip Advisor, we were not disappointed, but we were not "Wowed" We chose 1 Menu Tradidicon y sabor and 1 Menu Degustacion. The Migas con papada y huevo to my mind was rather cold and not fried enough to make it slightly crispy. The Cogollos impregnados was rather simple, lettuce... More

We pre-booked the five course tasting menu for a birthday celebration and had courses recommended by Jorge the chef and proprietor. Every element was exquisite. Delicious golden crispy croquettes of mackerel, sardines, migas (slightly too generous a portion), tomatoes stuffed with black squid and sublime aged fore rib of beef marinated and slow cooked to sticky, glossy perfection. Loved the... More

We booked on the restaurant's web site and received immediate confirmation for dinner at 8.30 and were the only guests until about 9.30 when others arrived. By 10.00pm it was full. What a wonderful restaurant, the presentation, service, food and wine were all five star. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful and guided us as best he could in English.... More

We ate here twice during our stay in Siguenza, once eating the five course, and once the four course menu. The toy animal heads mounted on the walls nod to a place that doesn't take itself too seriously. The food, however, is serious indeed - inventive, flavoursome, occasionally stunning and every course beautifully cooked and presented. A mussel croquette and... More

This is a nice little place serving a limited but good menu. The wine card is also small and very good (we had the Remeluiri very good). Due to diet restrictions (gluten Dairy) we had the only two main course available Pork and Lamb and only starter the eggs. The eggs were very nice - barely cooked (as advertised) which... More

We ordered the Menú degustación which was a four course taster menu - and every single item was mouthwateringly delicious. Each course was prepared, cooked and presented with real care and attention to detail and the flavours were subtle and very cleverly put together. We were bowled over by the Nola and recommend it whole heartedly. Best meal we had... More

Very surprising. We sat at the worst table but we arrived at 3 pm without reservation. The restaurant is small, about 6 tables, but very cozy and the waiter is attentive. Web forgot the table when tasted the meal. Very good quality and tastefully cooked dishes. Meat, the best we have tested. "Secreto" and lamb exceptionaly cooked in a "curious"... More
