Recommended by my excellent hotel, (Casona de la Paca), this restaurant was in a quiet setting a small way back from the main square. The ambience and service was pleasant, they spoke English. They had a menu but these seemed semi-defunct as they brought a large card with pictures of fish and seafood and told you of the catches of... More

One street back from the main square and a much nicer place than those on the square. Also better service and much better value. Nice setting and our waiter made sure we had an enjoyable experience. The Sea Bass was very good.

Quietly situated in a street set back from the main square and harbour. Our group of four had a mixed experience dining here: whilst two people were satisfied with their fare one other found the food to be undercooked, and the considered it to be bland, flavoured and most disappointing. As a group we considered the overall meal to be... More

We had lunch here after arriving in Cudillero and after a wander around the town. It's tucked away from the main centre so is quiet. Service was very friendly, and good. Not much English is spoken and they were not doing a menu del dia which was perfect for us. There was a good selection of local wines at affordable... More

We were two and ordered sea bream , which was awful as in not fresh at all. The prices are far too high and the food lacks quality

Not one had a good meal the cod was more than overdone. Really in a fishing harbor you don't expect fish that comes from the freezer... All a Cudillero is 'Has Been', just stay away...

My partner and I stayed at the Camping site in Cudillero where the owners suggested we eat at this restaurant... It was excellent the food was so fresh we had the queso de cabra (goat cheese) with avellenas (hazelnuts) and langostinos (large prawns) in a balsamic and oil dressing which we shared it was divine... We then shared the Sargo... More

Set one street back from the restaurants surrounding the port, El Faro is worth seeking out! On the day we were there the restaurant seemed to be full of locals....always a good sign. The food was delicious, ensalada bacaloa, scallops, merluza all perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and accompanied by a local vino blanco.....perfecto!

This restaurant was recommended to us and did not disappoint. We had the seafood mixed platter (3 of us shared a platter for 2). it consisted of lobster, 2 crabs, langustinos, dublin bay prawns, mussels and clams. They were very fresh and alot of it. If i had any complaint it was that they'd run out of some desserts but... More

Very friendly staff. Free hot and cold snacks put on the bar for patrons. Frequented by the locals as well as visitors. Good beer and Rioja ( we liked the local red wine) We ate on a couple of occasions and both visits were worthwhile - particularly impressed as we seemed to be the only English people there but were...
