By far the best Italian food i have had. I highly recommend eating at BoccaLupo. Great food and great atmosphere. Everything is made from scratch to order so you have time to enjoy appetizers and the atmosphere.

First time ever in Atlanta, on New Years Eve to boot. Fortunate to secure a reservation at BoccaLupo, a GREAT Italian restaurant off the beaten path, with a little Korean (yes Korean) twist. Not fusion, just a few nuances to turn the mundane into the extraordinary. Octopus and mortadella spiedino is definitely an original and was fantastic. Black spaghetti and... More

My friends had tried a couple times to get reservations at the restaurant but no tables were avaliable. We ate there tonight and now we know why this place stays packed. We shared the cauliflower, calamari and octopus. All the appetizers was yummy but the octopus was AMAZING. Next we ordered the risotto special with shrimp, tagliatelle, and black pasta... More

We met at BoccaLupo with friends and family for my wife's birthday dinner. This was my first time and it was a very enjoyable evening with food, wine and company. We made a reservation for six people a few weeks in advance. (make sure you do, this place stays pretty busy). Most of us went with the chef choice 4... More

We stumbled across this place as we were in a shop nearby and they recommended it. No reservation so sat at the bar. Great atmosphere and terrific service. Menu is a bit over descriptive but once we figured out what it all meant, went for the fried cauliflower, salad with apple and calamari. All delicious and beautifully presented. This with... More

Recommended by a friend from the NE this was the second time I visited this fantastic restaurant a second time with my friend. and the second time around the food is still fantastic. Located not too far from Krog St., Bocca Lupo is located in a residential area. The restaurant itself is a converted house. They have a small cozy... More

Small knock for the service, which while attentive was of the West Coast Snobbery School. It's bad enough I have to deal with it in my home town, I really hate it when I travel. But the wine list was nice, food was very creative and well executed, reservations honored and we were seated quickly.

The entrees were nice size and fairly priced but the appetizers were expensive and the portions were very small. I had their version of a Caesar Salad which was made up of 6 small pieces of lettuce. The salad was not inspiring. I then had the black spaghetti with spicy sausage and rock shrimps. It was good but not special.... More

We went here for a friend's birthday, it's his favorite place. The appetizers were both interesting and quite good, and some of us got the "progressive" multi-course meal, which was also extremely good. It's in a modest location, and while the food was quite good, it was not cheap by any stretch.

Came here on Thursday, November 10 with another couple. Had a chance to review the menu beforehand, so was prepared to order antipasti, main plate and dessert but asked server to recommend wine. All outstanding choices. Had the Octopus and Mortadella spiedino, followed by the chicken liver ravioli (I like texture and richness of liver, but not the strong mineral... More
