If you don't want to stand in line for great food, don't go to The Varsity! I like the way it's set up but it can be frustrating. The chicken salad, burgers, fries and onion rings are all perfectly fine by me! They are not too large but very good! You have to try the Varsity orange drink! Oh, don't... More

I traveled from the West to the East late in the day. My flight out of Atlanta was in 3 hours. So I spent time walking around trying to figure what my taste buds were wanting--- my family lived in Atlanta for 5 yrs , but that was 23 years ago .//Then I saw it// The Varsity Hot Dog. They... More

Being in Atlanta I had to try the Varsity. The place was packed but was worth the wait. Food was good, greasy comfort food. Definitely an experience everyone should have

First started going to The Varsity with my dad long before I could drive. It was always a special treat. Don't know how many of you will remember when the parking lot was much bigger; each high school has its "own" area; Brown, Grady, North Fulton, and others. Nippy Russell was one of the car hoops; Cokes were in bottles;... More

Great local place, but disappointing burgers - quite small, but very tasty. Get the onion rings, they're amazing.

Always a good experience when we visit downtown Atlanta. All the food is excellent, but my favorite item is the chocolate shakes.

I was passing through ATL and planned this stop as part of my trip. An iconic stop to grab dinner... slaw dog, cheese dog, fries, and a frosted orange. Decided to grab a tshirt too since they are reasonably priced. Be ready to order and step to the side to keep things moving. There is always a ton of staff... More

I'd heard a lot about Varsity which was cute in American culture - the drive-in-and-park, the service-to-door, the styling and the amazingly friendly staff. However, for me, food lacked anything amazing but the selling point is the variety you have to choose from - I love a good hot dog and these were good hotdogs, but not amazing... Sorry guys
