This place is so amazing. I went here with five friends on a Saturday evening. We made reservations, which is very much needed due to their popularity. They do not offer valet, so you must find street parking or you can park in a big...More

The food was fantastic with valve. Anthony served us with a huge smile with a professional touch. Everything was almost perfect except for the noise. My date and I had a hard time carrying a conversation. It's just to loud.

Birthday brunch on a Saturday for a party of 12. I called the restaurant a few days before our event to let them know that I made 2 reservations for parties of 6 each because it wouldn't let me book it for 12 online. The...More

Great food, great service. I prefer the upstairs seating because downstairs gets pretty loud and chaotic. Bar is tight, so consider making a reservation and arriving on time rather than early for a pre-dinner cocktail. Perfect when you have visitors in town.

OMG. All I can say is the fried green tomatoes and the fried chicken are truly outstanding -- and I've had them all over the world. Chic inside. Great service. A mix of people watching and intimate dining made this a special treat.

The food was very tasty and appropriately portioned. Service was courteous and professional, prompt but not rushed. Some of the beverages were 15% more than at other comparable establishments, which is my only complaint.

Good place for a special occasion meal, on the pricey side. Food nicely presented. Great service. We had the crab cake, peach salad, pulled pork, quail, fried chicken, pecan pie, & angel pie (chocolate). Served with biscuits & cornbread. Tasty.

Waited about 45- an hour to be seated for brunch on a Sunday, so we decided to sit at the bar for cocktails and appetizers. Once we were done and moved to our table, the waitress came to assist us quickly. Staff continuously walking around...More

Everyone working on auto-pilot. Menu read rote with no inflection in voice. Fried green tomatoes good but swimming in sauce. Pimento cheese flavorless but with good sides. Wild boar tagliatelle super flavorless, they should not attempt Italian food. And collard green kimchi interesting but too...More

I don’t believe there is a private room. The restaurant is lively and can be loud.

Celebrating over 18 year as one of Atlanta's favorite restaurants, South City Kitchen Midtown specializes in contemporary Southern cuisine with a sophisticated twist. Combining the energy of Atlanta with the warmth of a Southern home, the restaurant is nestled in an updated, historic bungalow on the city's famous Crescent Avenue. Dine on local Southern favorites such as shrimp and grits, buttermilk fried chicken, she-crab soup, fried green tomatoes and banana pudding while enjoying the view of our exhibition kitchen or the city skyline on one of the best patios in the city. This truly is dining the way the new South intended.
