Parking was easy, complimentary valet. With a reservation, we were immediately seated. We had a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The outdoor seating on turf was excellent. Felt transported from Georgia while overlooking the water. The service and menu selections were excellent. Joseph, Cody,...and Tai took excellent care of us. A must do in ATL.More

A landmark restaurant that has take a turn for the worst. Have visited several times and have never been so disappointed. Service was non existent and 1/2 the food came put cold and under seasoned. So disappointed.

What a special place. I am very thankful I was able to get a reservation a week out. Granted it was at 5:00 PM on a Saturday afternoon, but what a beautiful place to visit any time. It sits right on the banks of the...Chattahoochee River. There are four areas of seating: The bar with live music, the main dining room without a view, the window front seating with a view, and lawn tables outside next to the river. Honestly, it would not matter which area I got for the actual meal. That's only part of the experience. The real beauty lies with the waiting area down by the river. Both before and after your meal head down to the river. Buy a drink from their pop-up outdoor bar. Walk along the river or sit in one of their many benches. Watch the river flow by with wildlife and people tubing. If you are there at sunset, it's awesome. While the location and atmosphere are five star, the service and food had to deliver as well. Our total bill with tip and drinks by the river for three was close to $400. I did not mind. I would come back for special occasions anytime I could. Our two servers were polite, genuine, engaged and a joy to be around. Even when our order had a blip, they fell over themselves to make it right. You can't buy that kind of service. Our food was delightful. Our favorite part of the whole night happened sitting on the bench watching the river go buy. A couple was trying to get a selfie with the river and sun setting. We took their picture for them. The next fifteen minutes talking with them about their first time away from their kids while being locked in their home with the pandemic was awesome.More

The waiter had a real attitude. The service was poor and we waited a long time to get our food. Food was ok once we got it. Waiter was supposed to have a mask on per their own standards listed on the website, but he...didnt. We wont be back.More

Ray's on the River was a birthday dinner. It was a nice atmosphere and the food was good. It was not bad, I just have had better seasoned food elsewhere. I gave four stars for the ambiance, service, and the special attention for my special...day.More

As usual, the food and environment is excellent, had the Surf and Turf and the BROILED SEAFOOD PLATTER with Oysters Rockefeller. Service was lacking on our 2nd visit to for our Anniversary. They did provide a desert that was excellent to celebrate our Anniversary. However,...they lost tips on the service which fell short of expectations. Asked for a glaze for my steak, but it never came. I noted our waiter spent more time "smoozing" the teenagers there for prom and pretty much ignored us. I normally tip 20%, but dropped it due to the fact that not only did the waiter ignore us, so did the gentleman in the blue suit, he too spent time "smoozing" the prom goers. Perhaps the thought was the HS kids would tip better, but as a former food service worker, that normally doesn't happen. Recommend our waiter spend more time insuring all his customers are doing okay and insure that when a customer asks for something, bring it. It cost you an additional $5 on the tip, and if tips are shared, it affected the rest of the staff. We'll be back for sure as we found our anniversary restaurant, but I will raise the bar on customer service on our next visit.More

Beautiful view but it stops there We have eaten there before we enjoyed the outside views but other than that there really isn’t anything to offer, the wait is terribly long for the food we Were sat at 1:30 and didn’t get our lunch until...three at that point I was absolutely over it, there’s just so many other places to spend my money and I refuse to go back.More

What a disappointment!!! Let me start by saying our server was awesome and if I was giving a review about him and the service he provided it would be five stars... Ryan THANK YOU!! I did everything right I made a reservation in advance to...celebrate my husband’s birthday. We got a seat by the window...it was perfect and then my food came out cold.. that was in the end of the world...a manager came to the table apologize for the inconvenience and told me they would get the food right back to me and they did they brought me back the exact same for a few minutes later.... WOW!!More

Food was ok compared to the hype or reputation. 4 of us and agreed by all that the food was marginal. We encountered a problem with equity among the seating and when the manager was confronted the next day he did not handle the situation...in a satisfactory way, in fact he incited it. So, for me not worth a trip to see if the situation would be different. I wish you better success, but I've done my stint to correct the wrongs of the world. I just want to enjoy dinner. Happy eating.More

I wore shorts last time but was sitting outdoors overlooking the river. If I was going to be indoors, I’d go with upscale jeans and a nice button up shirt.

Sorry. Bad typing on previous response. Entree plus a few drinks or appetizer and your going to average 75 - 100 per person including tip.
