Been wanting to come here for years. Finally made reservations. So glad we did. Greeted by an amazing staff. We started with the side board salad bar. Amazing. You must try everything on the salad bar. Had so many delicious things I have never tried. Then I would say the fried chicken is a must. It was the best fried... More

I had a good meal here about 14 years ago, so was excited to come back and visit. I had reservations and was seated fairly quickly. The waiter was very busy (market week) but stayed in touch. I'm eating vegetarian so decided that the salad bar was the way to go. I said I'd like to look it over, but... More

The staff here welcome you with genuine Southern hospitality. The food was served in large portions, so you definitely won't leave hungry. A lovely experience with good comfort food.

LOVED this restaurant. We were so happy to have stumbled upon this. The inside is so beautiful. The staff were what I were totally what I imagined when I hear 'southern hospitality'. A gentleman playing piano near the salad bar. The salad bar prior to dinner was an amazing surprise. I had the Aunt Pittypat's Fried Chicken for an entree... More

The food here is fantastic. A salad bar, black eyed peas, and collard greens come with every entree. The cornbread is fantastic. If you can, share a plate - it's so much food!!!! The pork and mashed sweet potatoes are delicious.

Worst experience I've had in 32 years of going to this restaurant. The service was awful. The server, Denise B was the rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. Had to get the bus boy to get us refill drinks because she was sitting with friends at other tables. Had to beg for bread, our side items and... More

Nothing pretentious at all! They bring you large portions of real southern food. Delicious. Anything on the menu is worth a try. Wonderful service and incredible staff! I only wish the prices were a little bit cheaper, but it's worth a visit!

Pittypat's was recommended by two different sources so we gave it a try. It is definitely southern-style cooking *but* the corn bread and biscuits were really only average. This place really caters to the convention crowd looking for a spot with "southern ambiance" ( and it has that...) overpriced food ( it has that too) convenient to the large downtown... More

I would recommend this restaurant. From the time I entered the place and was greeted with an awesome hostess, she led us to our table and all 6 of us enjoyed the food. Most of us had the fried chicken and yes, it was awesome. I also enjoyed the greens, black eye peas, cornbread, biscuits and muffins. Salad bar is... More

Downtown Atlanta's Oldest Southern Dining restaurant since 1967. We are a "Gone With the Wind" themed restaurant, a place where the characters presence are felt from the menu to the overall decor to the memorabilia on the walls. We have created a menu of Southern classics that have been enjoyed by groups large and small from the moment we opened our doors. Dishes such as, Aunt Pittypat's Fried Chicken, 12 Oaks BBQ Ribs, Georgia Catfish, just to name a few. Our menu also includes delicious appetizers and tempting desserts made fresh in our bakery daily. We have a full bar, plus draft beer by local breweries and a Specialty Drink menu to wet your whistle. So come on by and let us show you our Southern Hospitality!
