My wife and I chanced across this small, family-owned gem while in town visiting family. We’d had amazing Chinese food in London the week before and were hungry for more.
It’s a small, unassuming place tucked into a strip mall, with a locals-favorite vibe. The interior décor was understated, but the food was great.
We were welcomed with hot tea, then ordered ‘small plates’ of curry pockets, pork buns, scallion pancakes, pork-and-shrimp shao mia, and (of course) dim sum. All were as good as anything we had in London’s Chinatown.
The staff was super friendly, and service was attentive without hovering. We would definitely go back to sample all the other dishes on the menu.

This is a great and well run Dim sum restaurant on Buford Highway that has very family friendly service. Excellent food very authentic high-quality. The shu Mai and the pork dumplings are the bomb. Spicy garlic chicken = consistently excellent !!
Ps - don’t tell too many people cuz I like to walk in get a table ;)

First time here and glad I went. The menu is large plus a zillion pictures of food on the wall. I ordered the pork with garlic sauce. It came with just the right amount of sliced green pepper, cabbage and onion. It also came with a nice amount of rice. As soon as we sat down we were greeted with a pot of hot tea. Everything was good. The price was also good as was the service.

Let’s start this off by saying this is a very homing restaurant. They invite you in with open arms. It was my very first time going, but the young lady I was with has been there a couple times. It seemed like they were family members with the opening arms welcoming. When it comes to food I got the fried sticky rice, spring rolls, soup dumplings and fried pork dumplings. My favorite item was the pork dumplings they were very flavorful. Salty pork with cloves and the drippings sauce gave it the much needed sweetness it needed. My least favorite item was the fried sticky rice. It was very oily and didn’t have much flavor. Could have been more better. Overall I would try it again with hoping it would be prepared better with much more taste. The soup dumplings were pretty good with taste but didn’t have a lot of soup in them and they were very small. If you plan on going here I will say depending on how many people you go with be prepared to order a good amount of food if you want to try different items because the sharing portions are very small. This is a good restaurant. I do recommend you to try it if you have never had dim sum before because they restaurant is a great steppingstone

We were a party of 5 for dinner.
We ordered a mix of soup, dim sum, noddle dishes, rice dishes, chicken.
The wonton soup was excellent and rich in dumplings. The Chicken Lo Meim was loved by our children and we all loved the dim sum very much.
The staff was very nice and helpful. Hard working people.

Combination of Dim Sum and standard menus items. Order off the wall for dim sum, and the menu if you want a traditional Chinese meal. Food was tasty and one of the few places that an “extra spicy” request actually produced spicy food. Nice lazy Susan tables, that seat 6-8, allow you to share dishes with everyone. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Prices were good. Only issue is food prep is a little slow, this is understandable since they are cooking small quantities of custom ordered food. So relax and chill out and order as soon as you see something you like.

This restaurant is a dimsum place. They have a large selection to choose from in their menu. Price is overpriced, and food quality is not the best. Staffs are attentive. The place is not that busy. You might consider this place you you’re looking for Chinese food.

My wife and I, mistakenly, chose Dim Sum Heaven, for dimmer.
We were, exteremely, disappointed.
First, they had no liquor license; so, a cocktail, or glass, of wine, was unavailable.
Second, the dim sum we ordered was soggy, and nearly, inedible. The entree (egg foo yung) was OK.

Loved everything we ordered except for the egg tart. We had the Pork Shumai, Shrimp Shumai, Shrimp Dumpling, Chinese Broccoli, Steamed Pork Bun and Young Chow fried rice. All were freshly made and tasted wonderful. The egg tart was a big disappointment. The crust was flaky but the custard was not soft; it was spongy. You could tell that this was reheated several times therefore overcooking the custard. The service was great and the waiter was very friendly.

Hubbie and friends have been here a zillion times and we all LOVE IT!!! There is absolutely no ambiance and we don’t care. The soup dumplings are to die for and we also love the scallion pancakes, hot and sour soup, and the chicken/lotus root/pepper dish. We get the same dishes every time and roll out stuffed with deliciousness. And it’s CHEAP! And we love the staff.

We've only eaten here once. There is a large menu, though much of it is on the wall. We tried a pretty large selection of dishes (mostly small plates), and found that most were good, but none were excellent. Here are my notes:
A - Beef lo mein
C- - Beef steak w/ Peking sauce
C+ - Pork w/ garlic sauce
D - Kung Pao Shrimp
B - Shu Mai
B- - Pan fried pork dumplings
C - Pan fried pork buns
B - Fried shrimp & chive dumplings

Hate that they don't have the carts, but love that you can order exactly what you want. Restaurant appeared to be very clean and the staff was extremely friendly.

The soup dumplings were very good, and that is the main thing I am rating. The service was efficient, and all other foods were good. The soup dumplings had good flavor, were not too large, and the wrapper was not chewy. Not quite Din Tai Fung, but good for a craving fix.

We read the reviews and everyone seemed to think that this was the best dim sum in Atlanta. Between my wife and I we tried 9 different menu items. Three were awful, five were so-so, and one was actually good. We would not recommend this to anyone.

This place is just amazing. Open late, serves dim sum all day, and every dish tastes perfect. We ordered everything from sesame chicken to traditional dim sum plates and were blown away. They also provided excellent service. They were so attentive that we didn't have to say a word when we dropped our chopsticks - the staff was already on their way with replacements. Couldn't be happier!
