Visiting from England we came across this restaurant when visiting the History Centre Surroundings are lovely, food good and service impressively prompt on a busy Saturday We were surprised how reasonable the bill was We did feel that the two ladies on reception were rather overwhelmed and checked our names several times over the time we were waiting, it might... Just like Swan House itself, when you step into Swan Coach House you find yourself stepping back into a different era. Beautiful decorated in keeping with the 1930s, the tables are also laid with crisp white linen, sparkling cutlery and pretty floral decorations. This really is a meeting place for ladies. Another reviewer mentioned a ratio of one man for... More

After touring the history center, we went there for lunch. We ordered Swan's favorite (chicken salad) and Cornucopia salad. They were good, however, it was the mini-muffin that stole the show. Especially the one that is baked with zucchini. The portion is very generous.

My boyfriend had the Monte Cristo sandwich and I had the soup and sandwiches. Both meals were good. We had the pecan pie for dessert. It was delicious (I wanted the Coca-Cola cupcake, but they were sold out, but no regrets).

The restaurant was warm, friendly and had a delightful menu. It's an ideal location for special occasions, girls luncheons, bridal showers and much more. The menu was lovely and the surroundings a beautiful "step back in time".

Tremendous place for lunch with Southern style cuisine. Wine, beer and crafted cocktails are available. Holly was knowledgeable and attentive. When I asked about a champagne cocktail made a certain way, Holly said, "I make the cocktails, I will take care of it." I had Shrimp Salad and a Swan shaped French chocolate mousse topped with Chantilly cream and almonds.... More

I took four out-of-town HS friends to lunch for the "quintessential Southern ladies' lunch." A bridesmaids' luncheon and a baby shower filled the majority of the other tables in the room. The only male in sight was the busboy...he was also the only ethnic minority in the room. Our waitress was as at least as interested in regaling us with... More

Tucked into a corner of the Atlanta History Museum property, but open to the public from Slaton Dr. is the Swan Coach House. While traveling we look for such venues: encountering dining that reflects the region we are visiting. The dining room was decorated beautifully. It was evident many locals frequent this restaurant for the food and the ambiance. A... More
