Definitely make reservations here. Valet parking is very inexpensive. The menu is a good variety of dishes from sea bass to steak. I had the sushi tuna tartare appetizer and bass and salmon combo, my husband had the fried lobster tail appetizer and maryland crabcake. The service was very good. My water was always refilled without asking.

We ate at Chops upstairs, not the Lobster Bar. From start to finish, this was one of my top steakhouse experiences. Starting with a dirty Stoli martini & blue cheese stuffed olives. The Italian olives set it apart from any other I've had. I brought a bottle of wine I had been saving for my 40th birthday, so I did... More

This review is for Chops upstairs, NOT the Lobster Bar. I live nearby. My wife and I go there at least once a week since moving to the area 4 months ago. The food is still good. The bartenders are comically horrible. If you show up twice a week, they have no idea who you are. It's like going to... More

Went out with friends who live in the neighborhood. Heard great things about the restaurant. Steaks were excellent although my steak was just luke warm. Shrimp cocktail tasted fishy and I had heard great reviews about the Cesar salad but I was very disappointed. Maybe it was an off night and as I mentioned the steaks were excellent. Service excellent... More

This was a very expensive evening for a party of 4--$600 which included two cocktails for 3 and a glass of house wine for each. Interesting concept--ordering appears to be all ala carte...pricing for entree with no side dishes. I had the lobster tempura which was light and not greasy and my companions had steak which they raved about. We... More

Had a anniversary dinner here with my wife. The staff took Great care of everything we needed. Every part of the dinner was perfect. It was a little noisy because the place was packed.

Chops Lobster Bar isn't just for business meetings. We celebrated our anniversary here. The wait staff was professional and friendly. Although I was hesitant to try fried lobster, our server suggested that I give it a try. Wow! It was not only delicious,it was also plentiful. I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys lobster!

Chops is a special dining experience for us when in Atlanta and wanting to celebrate a special occasion. We had dinner there on August 20th with our two adult daughters to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. As always it was a delightful evening with excellent food and unparalleled service. The Dover sole was prepared perfectly at our table and the... More

Chops is our favorite of the Buckhead Life Restaurant group. My wife & I shared 2 entrees, the 12 oz. NY Strip steak & jumbo crab cakes. We also shared 2 small sides, mashed potatoes & thin green beans. The steak was perfectly cooked to our request. It was flavorful & absolutely delicious. The crab cakes are the best I... More
