SUMMARY - Better places nearby; try those first. DETAILS: Ray's was recommended by a friend. I called Ray's to get information regarding the dress code (business casual - so sweat pants, shorts, etc.). Reservations were also suggested so we made them for Friday night at...8:15PM. We were staying nearby and arrived there at 8:05PM; we were promptly greeted and told that our table would be ready soon. We were waiting in the lobby and observed a lack of compliance with mandated Co-Vid requirements for guests (no masks, no ability to distance, no ability to wait outside and hear name called), no dress code (multiple people in sweat suits, a guest in denim shorts, t-shirts with faded jeans, etc), and no mention of our table until after 8:45PM. Once seated, we were next to a bus station so it was not only busy, but many clankings of dishes, glasses, and silverware tossed around. A group of people were seated near us that were drunk (to quote one of them, "We've been drinking at the bar for over an hour and I am f***** up!") and loud (conversing with people across the restaurant about their food). Multiple patrons were visibly disturbed, but the server immediately offered them more alcohol. This behavior would continue for the duration of my visit. The lead server suggested an appetizer (the calamari) which was a generous portion that perfectly fried. For our main course, my fiancée ordered broiled seafood and I had a ribeye. Her seafood was prepared fantastically and it was obvious that the seafood shines. My steak had little taste and the cut seemed to be improper based on the graining. I had a blue cheese topping that was charred; it was a fantastic savior to the steak! Because we were celebrating we took some cheesecake to go; it was also delicious. Overall I awarded Ray's 2 stars. There were some great things (the seafood especially) and things that were on par with Chili's or other casual dining (no reason for a dress code and waiting for 30 minutes PAST our reservation time). I would strongly suggest other places nearby where the service is more consistent, the food offered is a specialty, and the atmosphere is accommodating.More

Amazing- due to Covid and silly us never thought to make a reservation. The staff is amazing we walked in at 5pm no tables available till 8:30, but you can eat at the bar once space is available. So we could see 1 lady by...herself food plate finished - keep in mind 2chairs together spaced 6 feet apart another lady finished by herself finished eating with 2 chairs. Each of them women by themselves sat on their cell phones while starving people would just like to eat. I felt like saying here let me buy you a bottle to take to your hotel room. After 45 minutes one of them finally left and the couple from Canada waiting behind us hoping the for the most rude women on earth finally leave. We finished eating even ordered a second round of THERE amazing Oysters Rockefeller’s- to die for totally awesome!!!! Rude women still there while several persons just want to eat. There mistake is they have plugs for people cell phones- so these idiots can stays for hours. Feel bad for the bar staff, these persons aren’t even drinking or tipping just wasting everyone’s day and time, they nurse their glass of wine so much the grease from their hands make it look so disgusting. Food amazing; not sure if you can change policy but take out phone plugs so their phone will die!!!More

My husband and I were staying at The Westin and walked to the restaurant. We did make a reservation. The food was delicious! We started with Oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer. It was tasty. We then ordered shrimp scampi with white wine linguine and the...jumbo crab cakes. The food was amazing! Jumbo shrimp was used and the crab in the cakes was large and plentiful!! Our servers Maggie and Molly did a great job of meeting our every need. Such a wonderful dining experience! We will definitely come back and bring family and friends!More

We almost did not eat here, since it was not listed anywhere in the top places to eat on trip advisor. My friend insisted we at least have a drink and check it out. It was packed. The market is next door and the market...was holding an event. We had to have of Our temps checked, we put our name down on waiting list. Menu looked good so we stayed. With the restaurant being full as they could be with COVID, our server was friendly, took her time explaining the questions we had. I had the grouper, which was cooked perfectly, and seasoned just right. For the price you also had a side dish. Rare to find these days, and they were happy to substitute the vegetable that came with the fish. My friend had the NY and crab legs, and green beans. It was way too much food. Crab was delicious. I did not try the steak. I was very impressed with this place, and went back the next day for lunch / happy hour. Had the Rockefeller, that was great. The side dish of lobster risotto , creamy, great flavor, did not have and bites of lobster that I noticed, but shared. She wold crab soup, yum.More
