Casual spot on the smaller side where there was a short wait for a counter seat. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pancakes were very good-some of the best I've had. I wanted eggs and pancakes and I was offered a combo that ended up being $23-a tad expensive for breakfast food, but next time I'd order one of the regular options that averaged $14-16. My only "complaint" is the stools for the counter are uncomfortable and are pitched forward and too tall for the counter height. (I'm 5'4", so maybe it's just that they aren't made for shorter folks). Had to literally bend over to not slop food on myself. Otherwise, I could see this being a place that regulars would go often as the food was good and the staff were nice.

We came here for lunch the Friday before Memorial Day weekend so we got a table right away. It's a small place with 8-10 tables inside, a counter with 6-8 seats, and some outdoor seating in the back. I had the brisket quesadilla and my guest had the Early Bird Special with eggs, sausage, and potatoes. Both were delicious! The restaurant automatically adds gratuity to the bill, but our waitress made sure we knew about it ahead of time. Our waitress was great and said that if you want to come on a weekend, you need to come by 8:30am or there will be a line.

We stumbled across this after needing a breakfast place to stop at on our trip from ATL to Lake Oconee. How fortunate! It was a little brisk out, but we loved the little outdoor set-up. Our table had a good amount of sun to warm us up. The service was impeccable. I had the Bionic Breakfast which was phenomenal - layers of amazing flavors. Even my meat and potatoes husband raved after reluctantly tasting it. His Early Bird breakfast was tasty and the white pepper gravy was a bonus. Definitely give this place a try.

We waited about 40 minutes be to be seated at this quaint and eclectically designed restaurant. We pleasantly surprised by the heated patio which doubled the amount of seating space. The food was pretty good, I ordered the Bluebird Burrito, while my boyfriend ordered the Fat Stack pancakes. The burrito was vegetarian and had way too many black beans but I enjoyed it. Also, we liked the short stack of pancakes, they were not as good as Buttermilk Kitchen but they were fluffy. This restaurant does not do any accommodations so be aware of that. The special of the day was a short stack of pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream, which sounded delicious but when my boyfriend went to order it with an extra pancake they did not allow it🤨 Other than that hiccup, they do have about 15 parking spots which was surprising seeing it’s in the city. But my bf and I enjoyed the vibe.

If you are in Downtown ATL and do not eat Breakfast here you missed a treat. Diverse and excellent menu, something for everyone. Staff is great, helpful, knowledgable, and steady. Ria's is small but does have an outdoor patio, parking can be difficult. you might have to drive to find parking in area. The Pancakes, Omelet, and Burrito are excellent. Julie lead us in the right direction on what to order!

This was my first choice for breakfast during my recent visit to Atlanta. It’s been about 6 years since I’ve been here after moving out of state and I have to say everything is as fantastic as I remembered.
Excellent food options for many diet types for breaks and brunch. The atmosphere is comfortable and eclectic. I’m so glad that Ria’s is still an icon of Grant Park but sorry that Ria has passed.
The servers are friendly and helpful. The owner and chef, Steve is such a great guy with a flair for making his menu different and interesting.
Great food. Great people. Great atmosphere. Great location. Great gem of a restaurant.

We arrived just prior to opening so were able to be seated. Although it is "outdoor," it was still within and enclosed tent. The pancakes were phenomenal and worth the trip, because those are hard to get right for my taste (top 5 ANYWHERE). Service was prompt, but a little brisk at times. I ordered the Ria's burrito, but should have read closer as there is no meat. This would normally be okay, but it tasted like plain beans and eggs in a huge flora tortilla. It was a miss for me. Another member of the party felt the same about the cheese quesadilla. I wouldn't make a special trip, unless I were in the area AND craving pancakes. Otherwise, I would order differently.

They have a variety of breakfast dishes but are proud the New York Times called theirs the world’s best. Not going to second that but they are good, if costly, with warm syrup and topped with toasted pecans or caramelized banana. They are stingy with the pecans. The coffee is good. The service is average. The atmosphere is funky.

Sunday Brunch. We were told it was just a 20 minute wait. We actually waited 50 minutes because Food Network said it was phenomenal. After we were seated it took another 15 minutes to get waited on and another 40 for our food. It was nothing to write home about. Was very disappointed. Basic run of the mill cafe.

The wife was searching for vegan and vegetarian options and found Ria's.
Amazing food, staff is very friendly.
Prices are very reasonable and they have bottomless coffee 😁
There was a bit of wait but not bad at all. About 15 minutes when we arrived about 10:30AM on a Friday.

We came for breakfast - arriving 10 minutes early and there were already people there. We ate on the patio which was covered and nice. I had a bowl with a tomato sauce and eggs. It was tasty. Nice place.
