Still Satisfying After All These Years

It's been awhile since I used to eat here while in college, had the chance to catch a margarita, good, and fish tacos, ok, before a movie at The Plaza Theatre.

We discovered this restaurant near the Carter Presidential Library/Museum (a wonderful stop we also recommend) because we were hungry and in a hurry and wanted to find something nearby. Eating here was a great decision! We split a yummy chicken lunch and I don't see how anyone could have eaten it by themselves. This particular dish was recommended by our... More

Now open as El Ponce, they have terrible food and service. The fish and pork were both dry and flavorless.

Stopped in for dinner on Saturday. Ordered some beer and a combo plate. Good cheese dip! Had a good enchilada with tacos and rice. Service was great too! Next time I am in the area I will be back.

The food is very typical. No surprises here. But the beer is cold, the margaritas are good and the chips are plentiful. One of my favorite places to go on a beautiful day. Sit on the porch and keep the chips and drinks coming!

La Fonda is the gem on this block. Don't mistake this place for being worth it. It's decent Mexican but you'll overpay at the bar

Hello, SSomani! Thank you for your feedback about what you enjoyed at our restaurant. The Fajitas are a favorite among most, and the beer is always cold and a great compliment to any on our authentic items. We hope to see you again, and until then, have a great New Year! Best, Bernie E., Owner. More

Known in the ATL for its patio, margaritas and beer, El Azteca serves standard Americanized Mexican food. In its own way, it's a reliable choice for fresh food.

Been to several El Azteca's but won't go back to this one. Service was slack and the kitchen was inconsistent. The only good thing was the bottled Michelob Ultra.
