Murphy's is delightful. The food was very good and the wait staff very helpful. Both the brisket and the sole cooked in paper were tasty and better than what you would expect. The horseradish mashed potatoes were a very nice twist on garlic ones. Mixing with the brisket it was a very good combination. Parking is limited but the valet... More

Moved from Atlanta 7 years ago. Took business associates to Murph's on the way from the airport. Walked right in at 6:30 on Friday. There was a family with small children at one table, friends out together, middle-aged folks on dates. Service was efficient without being rushed. Food was solid and well-prepared as i remembered it, although some old favorites... More

My boyfriend and I went on a date here, which we don't do often. I got the roasted chicken which was good at first then some pieces were very cold in the middle. I didn't send it back or tell our waitress because thats the type of person I am but with a nearly empty restaurant you would think they... More

The brunch specials are not exciting and tasty any longer. Do not get the omelette specials, because the look lacks zeal and the taste is bland. Appearance and meal presentation does not seem to matter any longer. And the omelette specials do not have a side item, therefore you stand to pay from 4-8 dollars additional for a side. The... While on a visit to friends in Druids Hills, we called in to Murphy's for a light lunch. The welcome was generous and we sat at the bar and had salad, served promptly and with ample portions. By chance it was a Monday so bottles of wine were on offer at half price - essentially 5 glasses for the price... More

There were 7 of us and we all had different food and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My husband had the brisket and thought it was one of the best meals he had ever had and he outs a lot for work. Everyone had great things to say about their meals. The atmosphere was very cool. The service... More

Loved this restaurant. The food, service and atmosphere was all very pleasing. I had the grilled salmon which was cooked to perfection. The salmon was cooked just right, not dry and very flavorful. The gnocchi with it was delicious as well as the sauce. Also ordered the steak special. Absolutely delicious. Steak was cooked just right and full of flavor.... More

Went both to dinner (after a wine tasting) and brunch at Murphy's within 7 days recently. The dinner was very good. The brunch was good, though I won't get the grits again. Great wine store in the back with a nice selection. Will definitely be back for more wine tastings, which you should absolutely check out.

We visited the restaurant for dinner, and were very happy with the quality and quantity of food. We chose the ribs which were very tender with the meat falling off the bone. The restaurant is very popular so you may need to book in advance. Friendly staff add to the pleasant experience. Would highly recommend this restaurant

I had a disappointing dinner here a few months ago but when a friend suggested it for lunch I figured I’d give it another try. Glad I did, for the crab and avocado toast ($13) with lemon Dijon dressing, embellished with thin slivers of red radish, was excellent even if it did taste more of perfect, ripe avocado than crab....
