Called for a reservations and were told only 6 pm was available and only seating was available upstairs at neighbor restaurant Fritti but they would give us the Sotto Sotto menu?! We called to say we were running 30 minutes late and they said fine....When we arrived they said they could seat us inside at Sotto Sotto. It was freezing inside as they had the air conditioning cranked up, I would have planned better and brought a sweater had they communicated the change in seating and we would be inside vs. outdoors. Our waiter was very snarky, he came to our table and stood in such a weird position so each time we communicated with him we had to turn around and crank our heads. Food was mediocre. Our server kept referring to the heirloom tomatoes that the chef was using so I ordered dishes to enjoy that but neither show-cased fresh tomatoes. Also the pasta was terrible, could have bought better at the grocery store. The atmosphere is pleasant enough but still lacking. They did a nice job spacing tables due to COVID restrictions. Don’t make a special trip here but given there are few nice restaurants in Atlanta this may be one in the area that gets frequented due to lack of choices.More

Nice atmosphere, good food. Tables for 2 are very close to one another, so you will hear the conversation of the tables on either side of you. Be prepared. Service is good. Food is good too. Atmosphere is nice. You won’t be disappointed, but you...may not be wowed. Overall, it’s a nice dining experience.More

I was here a year ago and much better before. Pasta with clams had no taste and not hot. They forgot my salad with my veal. I ordered Vinsanto with biscotti for desert and they served it in a brandy snifter so you could not...dip your cookie, and served round almond cookies not biscotti, so completely f’ed up. Won’t be back.More

By myself on a Sunday night, sat the bar. Staff friendly. Bartender attentive and funny. And the food ... ohh, the food. As always, outstanding! The Gnocchi is bloody amazing. Excellent.

The lasagne, the duck pasta dish, the spinach gnocchi.......it’s all so good. A very nice restaurant for either a special occasion, business meal or just an evening out for some great food. Our waiter recently was very passionate about wine and we had a great...evening with friends trying lots of different wines. Food is fantastic and we found the service to be excellent aswell. I’m a regular at Italian restaurants and this is an excellent one.More

I was here for a business dinner, and the service was atrocious. Granted, it was a Saturday evening so they were very busy. But once we were seated in the back patio area we were completely forgotten. We finally snagged a server who said "Oh,...we're understaffed tonight." No kidding!! We got to place our orders, and food started to arrive. But then we waited 20 minutes while someone went to get the wine a colleague had ordered - all the while with our food on the table getting cold. I will say that the risotto was very good, and I like being able to order a small plate. But the Caesar salad was bland, even with the addition of anchovies. If I lived in Atlanta I'd probably try this place again on the assumption it was an "off" night. But as a business traveler, I won't go back on my next trip to Atlanta.More

The gnocchi was a little to cheesy but the other 3 pasta dishes we had were AMAZING. Super fresh best pasta in Atlanta hands down. I will be going back for sure. Parking is tricky though I would suggest taking a ride service there.

First time at Sotto Sotto. Being with a large group, we had a fixed menu which turned out great. Had a chance to try several of their dishes. The wait staff was very attentive and never allowed anyone’s wine glass to go empty. For me,...I prefer a non-alcoholic beer which they had. I would recommend this place if you are wanting ItalianMore

We made reservations for 5:45 and got there right on time and were seated. The meal from start to finish was absolutely delicious-the flavors were amazing. We did not realize we were going during restaurant week but that had no impact on our selections or...the quality of the food. The service was professional and good. The only draw back for me was the barely 12 inches between the tables along the wall-takes away from the experience.More

It is not uncommon for people to be in jeans with a sport coat or nice sweater during the weekend, the weekdays are a bit more upscale given that it is business expense account stop for folks in town. That said, other than... More
