We are a French restaurant in Atlanta, GA, where you'll forget you're just minutes from downtown Atlanta and think you've stepped into the European countryside. While we have made quite a few changes to the dining room for the current times, it is still warmly lit and comfortable. Our curbside pickup and online ordering have been a huge addition for us.

We had an extremely nice dinner on the patio. The patio is covered & heated & safe distance wise & kind of romantic. We started with the chicken liver pate ($8), which was excellent. It was served with bread & an amazingly good jelly. The...3 of us shared it & it was plenty. My wife & I had the scallops ($29). They were large, sweet, & in a delicious sauce with green beans & tomatoes, excellent. Our friend had the veal picatta ($27), which I tried & it was also delicious. We shared a dessert, the apple tart with nutmeg ice cream ($8). It was amazing, we all almost liked our plates. Our server Terry was excellent. He was very helpful & attentive. This was a very safe, during Covid, experienceMore

My wife and I don't dine out much...mainly because I prepare meals at home. But when we want to go to a special place for a "special occasion" Babette's Cafe is the only choice! The atmosphere, the service, the Food is second to none! Last...night was no exception! Though we did not stay very long...as in times past...our experience was top-notch! Janet, our server, was Excellent, her suggestions, sense of humor and "spacing" was superb! What I mean by spacing: knowing what to say and when to say it and "keep it moving". In other words, some servers " talk too much "! Many years ago I reserved space/table for my daughter's Rehearsal Dinner at Babette's and a number of times since then, have I been to the Restaurant...I have never been disappointed. Thank you Marla, Janet and the Staff for making Our Anniversary most enjoyable! The Elvitt'sMore

Babette's Cafe is definitely up to par with the outstanding reviews. It was a rainy and dreary Saturday night, however, all was forgotten while inside enjoying a sumptuous meal. The very helpful and kind valet got us in and out with the greatest of ease...considering the downpour. My husband had a delicious filet with gorgonzola sauce accompanied by very tasty horseradish whipped potatoes, buttered parsnips and assorted vegetables rivaling any top notch Parisian Bistro. I had steak frites with chimichurri sauce which was excellent. The chef here is significantly gifted and the safety measures are in place for a wonderful and normal-feeling evening. Our server, Janet, added to our meal enjoyment with her expertise and consideration for our personal tastes and expectations. Loved it all and grateful for being correctly directed by Trip Advisor reviews to a previously unknown but now a favorite restaurant.More

Marla Adams, owner and chef, and Janet, our server made sure everything was perfect. The food and service were exemplary . The atmosphere was very romantic, even during these socially distant times. A definite 10 on a 5 point scale!

My husband and I were in town for a wedding and had one night free for dinner. With son many choices in Atlanta, I somehow landed on Babette’s and I’m so happy I did. The service was attentive. The atmosphere relaxed. The food really was...perfect. I had the halibut and my husband the lamb chops. And since we started with butternut squash soup we had no room for dessert. But I’m sure it would have been amazing,More

My wife and I have been dining regularly at Babette's ever since it opened about 20 years ago. Never had a bad experience there. The food is always fantastic as is the service. Some of the best dishes we have ever eaten including at some...much more expensive restaurants. We dined there again this past Saturday and had another great evening. I had the halibut, as usual in the summer since it is the best halibut preparation I have ever tasted. My wife had the linguine which I tasted and it was one of the most delicious and flavorful pasta dishes we have ever eaten. So glad that they made it through the shutdown and are back doing all they can to make diners feel safe, as well as well fed. Hope to be able to dine there for many more years. Bill VMore

Well executed Covid table spacing, steriliztion and wait staff safety precautions coipled with terrific service and friendly staff made the dining expereience all the more enjoyable. The food is terrific and well presnted. I had the Veal Piccata, Capers, Lemon, White Wine, Butter and my...wife had Paiai. Both were fabulous and the poirtions generpous. The wine list is complete and the hand crafted cocktails imaginative. Be sure to ask for outdoor dining. The setting is pretty and calm.More

Dinner tonight at Babette's Cafe was the first time we have ventured out to a restaurant during the pandemic. It was a carefully thought out decision. Babette's is a long time favorite. They have been open for a few weeks after the shutdown. They are...taking incredible precautions to keep us safe. We felt safe. Masks on everybody (except when we were eating). Tables spread out. We chose the outdoor patio, but the tables were well spread out inside and we would be comfortable with them. The food was wonderful. Pear martini to start. Octopus appetizer. Lamb chops and halibut for the main course. Desserts and Irish coffee. The pandemic has messed up a lot. It is good to be back here!!!More
