It's a quaint little place, full of character. It's not polished physically, but it's clean. The service was very good. The food was good. Nothing overly intriguing, but the execution was consistent. Again, not a top-tier restaurant in terms of ambiance or taste complexity, but...More

I love this restaurant and so do my friends. We’ve always had a delicious meal and wonderful servers. It’s our favorite place to go for celebrations and just a pleasant night out.

Love this place, always delivers a consistent experience from the wait staff to the food. The dining room is cozy, a converted old arts and crafts house. Marla Adams is chef and owner and that guarantees a satisfied customer. Prices are more than reasonable.

Thank You. I work very hard at keeping the prices comfortable. It's what I would want to pay for dinner out.

Although the service is always very good and the food reliably very well prepared, creative but not arcane, what I appreciate most is the ability to talk in a group of four to six without screaming or straining to hear. For me, dining out is...More

Thank you very much. We are on the quieter side because we are smaller and we don't take too many large parties. But there are occasions where it does get loud, depending on what guests are celebrating; just so the visitors reading this post will...More

This restaurant is in a lovely old home, with valet parking. The food is fabulous but be sure and make a reservation or you probably won't get a table. Our server was excellent. The food was excellent. You will not be disappointed here. The menu...More

We have eaten several times at Babette’s Café and so have high expectations. One particular feature of note beyond the cooking that has kept us coming back is the attention to noise management. There are acoustic sound tiles on the ceiling, strategically placed to help...More

I appreciate all the comments you made here. Notes taken, though the Filet Mignon dish is a customer favorite, onion rings and all. I have tweaked the escargot dish since reading this, by making the gougeres a little smaller and bringing the portion up to...More

We had a reservation and were seated promptly. The server came immediately and was very attentive. We had the fettuccine appetizer which was excellent. The romaine and kale salad and cassoulet were also excellent. Great country French ambiance. Valet parking is complimentary and fast.

Visited on a rainy Sunday night and enjoyed every moment. Our server (Janice?) was a joy and helped us hone our choices - a difficult task when dealing with such a great menu. We settled on the prosciutto-wrapped melon and the beef tartare with quail...More

Everything about Babette's is wonderful! The atmosphere, the wait staff, host, and bartenders but most of all of course the food. I have been going there.... since it opened in its former location, I have never had anything I didn't love! No where else can...More

Description
For more than 24 years, the story of food, grace, and community are vividly brought to life when you step in for some fine dining at Babette's Cafe. We are a French restaurant in Atlanta, GA, where you'll forget you're just minutes from downtown Atlanta and swear you've stepped into a French countryside. Our goal is to make our mark on Atlanta's culinary scene with a fabulous dining experience you won't soon forget. Inspired by the award-winning film "Babette's Feast," our restaurant combines French, Italian, and Spanish provincial cooking with a rustic, European setting to provide an absolutely delightful setup for an exquisite meal. We employ a classically-trained staff who take pride in their culinary masterpieces which feature a touch of the exotic and a twist of the romantic. We serve up slowly-braised meats, locally-sourced produce, and traditional culinary techniques that will appeal to anyone's palate.
