Great margaritas and solid Mexican street food in a fun, energetic atmosphere. Friendly, enthusiastic service. I had late evening dinner with a colleague who introduced me to their awesome selection of margaritas. The chicken tinga tacos are really good but the corn tortillas are average....The elotes are the perfect balance of heat and tangy lime. The poblano slaw had more heat than expected (I loved it) and was the perfect complement to the tacos. My colleague went with his favorite; chicken fajitas. His portion was huge and he had to take some home. Not authentic, but a great place for American-Mexican. I’ll definitely go back next time I’m in Atlanta. Maybe they’ll step up the tortillas by then. This is a five minute Uber from the down town Hyatt/Hilton/Marriott.More

We had dinner at this place. Large, casual and located in a nice part of town, you can expect good service and generous, good Mexican food. We had 2 of the family size taco and margaritas. It was good for the 5 of us and...tasted good. The size corn was the best. Recommend.More

Arrived late, between 10-11 pm, service was quick and friendly. Drinks were refreshing. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Closes at 12 am on Saturday night. Prices are reasonable.

A group of us ate here for a lunch outing on a weekday. We walked here from our office, so I cannot comment on parking options (there is street parking nearby and probably pay-lots/garages in the area). The dining area is sizable, so I don't...know if they every have significant waits. There is a full-bar area up front. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu options. Everyone in our group of 8 found something they liked. I got a couple of non-exotic soft tacos and beans, all of which were tasty. Their chips and salsa were fairly good also. This seems to be a good bet for a decent Mexican meal in midtown.More

We attended Mannheim Steamroller Christmas at 2pm and had reservations for 4:30pm. We were able to walk right to it after concert. A lovely day for all. Enjoyed our food. Our waiter was "Hiram" and he did a great job. Thank you Escorpion!

Out of towers trying to find a decent Mexican food restaurant. This place is fine, but seems to be primary a tacos and tequila place. That said, they do also offer quesadillas and chile renellos. Food and service was good, but definitely not your typical...Mexican food restaurant.More

Escorpion is a great restaurant. Fun. Good vibe. Very good service and menu. I try to go whenever I visit the Fox Theatre. A short 6 or so block walk to Fox.

Our waiter was very friendly and the service was quick. One thing I enjoyed was the menu was so big that you didn’t know what to look at. The steak was a bit spicy. That how I like it. But too much for my wife....The pork had a great flavor. I’d love to eat here again when next we are back in town.More

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend who know I enjoy the odd margarita or two. Having browsed the reviews I wasn’t sure but gave it a try. I was greeted and seated immediately upon entering. My waitress arrived promptly with chips, salsa and...water and then took my drink order. She returned with my ‘Bravorita’ and discussed a few menu items with me before I made my choice. Food, drink, service all on point. A busy restaurant with a great vibe. I enjoyed it - give it a go.More
