I have had Rijsttafel in Amsterdam and plenty of Indonesian food in Jakarta, Bali and Sulawesi, Indonesia - this place is authentic and absolutely delicious. Very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere with excellent service. Also has full bar service and a limited but appropriate wine list.

I have a fondness for South Asia food, i. e., Thailand, Malaysian and Indonesian. I was very happy to read about WIN opening in my hometown of Atlanta so I decided to check it out. Simply wonderful. I had a favorite Bakmi Goreng each of...the four times I have been there for lunch over the past three months and I have never been disappointed. Each time I've added an appetizer of either chicken sate, shrimp sate and/or lumpia (vegetable spring rolls). All have been fantastic and their mixed drinks are reasonably priced and generous. This is one of those at least once a month restaurants. One last note: the owner/servers are very personable, offering several great sauces por gratis!More

Came for the reisttafel, I was so impressed that I will make this 140 mile round trip again without hesitation. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will be back for more authentic Indonesian cuisine. Thanks for a memorable meal

Best Indonesian restaurant in Atlanta ever, hands down. The new Rijstaffel menu is superb. It offers rich and authentic Indonesian taste. Price is very reasonable. The place is nice and clean.

We went here specifically for the lunch Rijsttafel (meaning “rice table,” an Indonesian island food sampler dating back to the Dutch colonization of 1602-1942.). We fell in love with Rijsttafel when we had it in Amsterdam a few years ago. Rijsttafel is not pure Indonesian...food but is a product of the colonial period and is known as “indisch” (IN-dees) cuisine. We had read about the parking and followed the signs to the second floor downstairs parking. It wasn’t quite clear where we should park but we did park in the right area and went over to the elevator. The parking garage is very dirty and run down, but I doubt that the restaurant has a lot of control over that. It is open to the outside so at least that’s good. We should’ve just walked outside as the elevator took us only to the condos and you have to go outside to get into the restaurant. We were the only people in the restaurant. Our hostess and server was very nice and service was excellent. I got a glass of chardonnay ($12) right away, and it didn't take long for our Rijsttafel trays ($14 each to come out. Our server said that they are visited at the restaurant by many Dutch people living in Atlanta who go for the Rijsttafel. There was tamarind soup with vegetables and peanuts; fried tofu; a salad with egg and tofu and spicy dressing; toasted coconut with palm sugar for the rice; rice; vegetable pickles including a hot pepper; chicken satay in peanut sauce: fried chicken; and beef rendang. Everything was wonderful! The chicken and tofu were light and crispy, satay and rendang were tender. The coconut topping on the rice was excellent. The flavors were distinct but complimentary. The meal was light but very filling. We were offered more rice but we were full. We are definitely going back for the dinner Rijsttafel ($28)!More

Our group of four were the only customers on a Wednesday evening at this new restaurant. Two of us had the four-course Rice Table, which is served as individual courses rather than being buffet-style as I expected; one of us had the suckling pig, and...one had prawns. All were excellent, beautifully presented and wonderfully flavorful. There is nothing which American tastes would find off-putting about this restaurant. It is a serious, first-class dining experience, and deserves to find a supportive clientele.More

We dined at WIN this evening and had a wonderful time. First they have valet so no problems with parking. We were greeted warmly and immediately shown to our table with booth seating. No drinkers so we started with a delicious mocktail. Everything we had...was yummy from lobster bisque, yellow fin tuna, mahi-mahi and birthday crepe brûlée. The service and ambiance sealed the deal for us to return.More

With a palate trained from years living in Indonesia, we were not sure what we would recognize from WIN on Peachtree but were happy on all counts from this newcomer to the Atlanta restaurant scene. From simple classics such as chicken sate, to reimagined salads...such as gado gado, and more complex traditions such as spicey rendang paired with surprisingly elegant rice lontong, each dish evoked good culinary memories and new delights. Our dessert with hints of fermented cassava - tape - brought it all together. This restaurant is turning out some unique and imaginative flavours and presentations and is well worth a visit, and return.More

A hidden gem. Only open a month. Hadn’t had Indonesian food before but this was very good. Wife had salmon. I had chicken with a spicy sauce. Also had the tuna tacos and the gado gado (a great salad) to start. Also a good wine...list. Excellent service by restaurant veterans.More
