I've been twice so far and both times the food has been amazingly delicious.
Location - easy to find. You do have to get a parking stub but the restaurant provides up to 25 mins and validates parking.
I've only had the oxtails but I would love to come back and try the jerk chicken too. They are generous with the food portions. The plate I had was rice and peas and it was actual beans. Also with cabbage and plantains. The meat is flavorful and fall off the bone tender. Everything is seasoned just right and the plantains gives you that burst of sweetness. Large oxtail plate $30
They have some seating inside and outside.
I'd recommend it and return.

They get 4 Stars for being open late, good service, and giving you heaping portions. But the food I got was bland. I got the brown stew chicken meal, which came with cabbage and rice & peas. The brown stew chicken was bland, rice and peas were good, and cabbage was meh. The dining area isn't big, so get the food to go. You have to park and get a stub, unless you go late at night and park next door in the back lot. Maybe I just needed to try something else.

The food is delicious 😋. First time visiting I had my mom with me. We got the food to go. I was in this area 4 years ago in the day time. Going here it was dark around 6-7 at night. My GPS on my phone and the parking 😒 totally confused 😕 me. I first pulled in a area people were pulling out. I pulled out and parked on the other side. I probably should have stayed where I first pulled in.

I use to eat here alot as I like the food and work in the building so it is convenient, I have had issues before but have spoken with the owner and he always corrects whatever issue I may be having. Today I ordered the Jerk chicken and I asked for extra brown gravy over my rice, chicken and cabbage, the women preparing my food informed me that she could not give me extra gravy, She was rude as always and I offered to pay extra but she declined saying that it was not about the money if she gave me extra gravy she would not have any for other customers!!! So maybe make extra gravy as almost everyone that orders asks for gravy/ extra gravy on their food. Its just disheartening. I have already limited my purchases with them but now I guess I will stop patronizing them as it is a constant issue. I WILL TAKE MY MONEY ELSE WHERE.

Irie Mon is the most authentic Jamaican food in Atlanta. My own criticism is that it's hard to spot from the main road and Google Maps is not accurate. Food is amazing.

This place is legit. My wife's grandparents owned a Jamaican restaurant for 35 years before they retired. Their food has made it impossible to enjoy Jamaican food out until I ate at this place. Will be going here whenever I am in Atlanta.

I love to try new places and am a HUGE fan of Jamaican food. I heard about this spot and thought I would try it. My first visit I had curry chicken and rice & peas...it was average. Second visit I got jerk chicken -my fav Jamaican dish and I was sadly disappointed. Heavily seasoned w/allspice and not at all like the jerk flavor I have enjoyed and loved in the past. I am on the fence on whether I will try them again.
