We ate here having read other reviews on Trip Advisor and, despite the restaurant being full, we did not enjoy our meal as much as other restaurants we have visited locally. Maybe it was a gloomy night in January. Who knows?

We ordered several items and by fat the best was deer meat and "tagarninas" a local asparagus-type veggie that was very tasty. Servers were friendly and kind. Price is reasonable. We didn't like the side dish they served with our dinners. For such quality meat...and fish you should not see frozen veggies. Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars.More

We ate at this restaurant 2 of the 3 nights we were in Grazalema. We only regret that we missed it on our first night. When we came in at 1930 on our second visit the restaurant looked to be fully booked. But the boss...conveyed to us (we have essentially no Spanish, he no english) that if we were out by 2130 we could stay. So he set up a table by the window for us - that is great service. The food is good too. The meal is finished with some home made limoncello and almoretto which is gratis. Prices are good. Really recommend it.More

We just visited this restaurant in mid August. On the way up from Jerez, it was quite hot. However, at this upper elevation, it was only warm to slightly hot. By the time, 8pm rolled around, it was very comfortable and gorgeous for a stroll...to this restaurant. The food here is excellent. We tried the venison lamo lillo, pluma iberico, lamb chops, venison steaks, and a simple but very well executed pasta. Also, there was an excellent clam appetizer and verdura and mushroom side and a delicate queso as well. While we didn't have any wine, we did have a pair of excellent hierbas digestif made by the chef which was a hit along with a fantastic creme Catalan and chocolate mousse. All in all, an excellent value for such an excellent dinner. Great service as well. Great for families as well as couples.More

Our favourite restaurant in Grazalema. The set menu is great value with a good and varied selection. The "large steak" is just that, huge "see pic" and cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced. Good selection of wine to accompany your meal.

Good local options and very friendly staff in a typical Andalusian restaurant specialising in local meat dishes. I enjoyed the lamb shoulder, not a diet option, but delicious, and my wife enjoyed the venison. We both also very pleased to have some vegetables, most Spanish...restaurants don’t go for vegetables with the main dish. We also had an excellent bottle of Rioja at the amazing price of just Euro 14. All in all it was really good value, and an excellent dinner choice. We ate indoors as it was getting windy on their patio.More

Wonderful house wine gives way to dish after dish of comforting, creative takes on local cuisine. Salads were clean and flavorful, and croquetas were varied with surprising depth of flavor. Sopa de Grazalema had interesting and unexpected cultural touchstones. Romantic and inviting ambiance with kind...and genuine service.More

It was a tastful experience in the village. We were pleased to find this gastronomic place. The dinner we had on the terrace was a succes in every option. The place, the service and the food. Even the prices were recommendable.

I think the food needs some work. The gazpacho is way too thin and tasteless. The fries in a tomato sauce do not work. Cheese and jamón were very good and the white wine of the house better than average, but if we are going...by the food, this does not deserve the high ratings it is getting here.More

We stopped for lunch here on a recent day trip to Grazalema. The restaurant is right next to the main car park and has outside tables in the shade. The menu del dia for 12.90 Euro was excellent value. I had gazpacho, pollo empanada and...tiramisu and my wife had tomato and cheese salad, swordfish and chocolate flan. Glasses of wine and bread were included. The food was really nice without being outstanding but what can you expect for that price!More
