I went there on a mission to get ice cream for my husband and myself. Not the best plan to walk a block back to the car with 2 ice cream cones. Wish we had gotten the extra scoop but that would most certainly have spelled disaster. Nonetheless, the ice cream was fabulous!!! I had Chocolate Chip, which was chock... More

Cute little place that the locals go. The food was good, omelets were huge. Service was a bit slow but the waitress said they had just finished a huge crowd so it was understandable. The place is very slow so if you don' t want a wait for breakfast go early.

I've only had the ice cream and it is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there is a riverside Park just down the street where you can enjoy your treat.

This is a great diner which serves classic diner fare well. The service is always very good and the food consistent. Be warned they only take cash and don't even bother in leaf peeping season as the line is always outside the door.

My husband I stopped by for a late lunch in this old-fashioned restaurant. It does need a facelift compared to the other stores in town, as others have stated. The food was average in quality and price for the area. The waitresses were so much fun! As it was closing time for the restaurant, we went downstairs for ice cream.... More

Well worn but good food. Needs AC and softer seating. Friendly staff and homey atmosphere. Oatmeal was very good and the coffee was excellent.

Comes in one size (you can add toppings) The best black raspberry ice cream I have ever had. The color was a light purple but the favorite was amazing.

Yes, this place is known for its ice cream, both upstairs in the restaurant and downstairs in the ice cream shop smack dab in the historic and quaint center of the Vermont town of Woodstock. Our family of four came for lunch. Daughter had the cheese and bacon hamburger, son ordered the pulled pork sandwich (both came with chips and... More

Stumbled on this place while wandering through Woodstock checking out the shops. What a great find! I had a Vermonte Cristo and it was fantastic. The best part was that it was served with fresh apple sauce and REAL maple syrup. I would definitely come back again and recommend this spot to others!
