I really wanted to like my meal here. Everyone was super friendly and efficient. The rolls we were brought were sort of warm and nothing special. Not offered seconds. We each had the field green salad and loved it. Lots of cranberries and sunflower seeds in it and a good dressing that was just the right amount. I ordered the... More

This is by far the best dish I have had anywhere that I can remember. I am from the area and frequent many places and have never reviewed any establishment. This however was so outstanding that I couldn't help myself. Add the fact that I arrived late and the staff was still super friendly and the chef delivered the food... More

We had the most delicious dinner last night at the Kedron Valley Inn in their cozy and lovely Tavern with fireplace. The Kedron has a new head chef and last night he presented his new menu. DELICIOUS!!! Two of us started with the curried lentil soup which was wonderful. For the main course I had the fresh Atlantic salmon, my... More

Stopped in here for a drink on our way back to Woodstock after a long day of sight - seeing in the area. Fabulous host / Inn keeper. Lovely ambience and friendly staff. Didn't have time to stay for dinner, but the restaurant looked lovely too.

Wonderful country Inn in a quiet valley only 5 miles from Woodstock. Comfortble rooms with working fireplaces which we enjoyed. Also a great breakfast included.. Very acccomadating staff, and a tavern and dining room with a fine nineteenth century atmosphere. Very fine menue and service. Some rooms are reached by sets of stairs, so inquirey for lless agile folks recommended.... More

My brother, sister-in-law and I ate here while we were staying in Killington and I had the squash and loved it. My brother had the salmon and liked it, my sister-in-law wanted to try something new and had the duck and didn't really care for it but she's usually more of a burger and fries kinda girl and shocked us... We ate here 2 different nights and both times we had excellent meals and the service was great! We enjoyed this restaurant more than the ones in Woodstock and Quechee. They had a green tomato and cheddar cheese soup that was fantastic! The entrees were also a good size and delicious. The chicken 2 ways and steak were great selections.... More

We stayed in town but at at the Kedron Valley Inn. Pretty setting, very cute, quintessential New England style dining room. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was very attentive.
