Not a must go

Food was just OK, atmosphere mediocre. We were told that we "must go" here, and for the life of me, I don't understand why. It's not bad, but there are certainly other viable options in the Woodstock area.

Dry muffins and a breakfast sandwich that was awful, how do you mess up a breakfast sandwich? All that and 2 coffees was 23.75! What a waste of money. We thought we would try it cause it was next door to our motel, we should have known better since the place was empty all morning!

I am not sure how a home made fresh muffin could be dry or how Cumberland Farms rubbery microwaved breakfast sandwich could be better than a home made english muffin with fresh farm raised eggs and fresh Vermont Smoke & Cure Bacon or Sausage. However, I do know that when I am in a rush and trying to get somewhere........ More

Great little place outside of Woodstock. The restaurant maybe small but they make-up for it with great friendly service and good food. The owner was waiting tables and concerned that all received good service and a hot delicious meal. We were impressed with the variety of dishes available. There was a breakfast menu which is severed all day, a brunch... More

We had two breakfasts at this cafe. The food there is excellent with everything being made from scratch. There is an amazing selection of coffee and tea flavors! The owner is a wonderful hostess and made us feel very welcome.

Over our two week stay in Woodstock, we had several breakfasts at this cafe. The food there is excellent. Everything is made from scratch -- freshly baked scones, pies, cookies and other goodies. They also have an amazingly vast selection of Italian coffee flavors! I love eggs for breakfast and found their crab meat and vegetable omelet especially delicious. We’ll... More

Definitely a must-go hidden gem! Owner Amy is a lovely and delightful hostess, and incredible cook/baker. Enjoyed crabmeat omelette and banana muffins for breakfast, seafood chowder and wild turkey panini for lunch. Breakfast all day; outstanding baked goods. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed at the hotel next door, so we were happy to be able to walk over for breakfast. The restaurant is cozy in appearance, and the menu and many nice choices. Our waitress was nice, but we were uncomfortable with how we could hear the owner talking in the kitchen, kind of bossing our waitress around. Plus, it seemed... More

Poor service with lack of interest and sassy remarks without the required wit to make them funny. Horrible iced coffee (not cold brew, and if so horribly stale).

We were two frends visiting the area. At the first glance, this small restaurant is very plain... but when one gets in, wow, it is so nice and clean. All is set for the consumers to be comfortable. And the food is delicious! We saw that there is even a chair and a guitar for people wanting to play or... More

This place was right next door to our motel. Went in for a quick coffee, tea + breakfast before leaving VT. The place itself is cute + the owner was proud to explain everything was homemade. That's where the good of it ends -- the vibe you get there is very odd, unwelcomed almost. When I was ordering, the owner... More
