As usual, we used TA to help choose our meal in a new town. The Village Butcher sounded like what we wanted but we were somewhat disappointed in the end. I ordered a veggie grinder. Good but nothing special. I ordered it on ciabatta for an up charge, which also was good but unremarkable. My husband got a pulled pork... More

Oh my goodness. I only bought one thing at the Village Butcher: cheese buns. Now my buns are cheese, and I have no regrets.

We enjoyed the Village Butcher's freshly made sandwiches while touring the shops in Woodstock. The bread is very fresh with a large variety of meats and cheeses.

Yummy sandwiches and homemade cookies and fudge. We also got some maple syrup to bring home for friends and they had a great selection

We stumbled on this place for lunch. Our sandwiches were absolutely delicious. We'd have gone back the next day, but they were closed when we got there. Highly recommend this deli.

Went here based on the recommendation of an acquaintance. My husband liked his sandwich so much, we ate there again. Good variety of deli meats and tasty sandwiches. Three tables outside make for a nice spot to people watch.

Delicious and reasonably priced overstuffed sandwiches. Very nice selection of wine. Some decent options for fudge and cheese. Take out only

Great spot for a grab-and-go lunch to enjoy in one of the many scenic picnic locations nearby. The sandwiches were top-notch. We had three sandwiches, two bags of chips, 1/4 lb fudge and a large bottle of water, and it was $38. I think the fudge ran up the bill- worth it though. Beer is available, but not for consumption... Don't be fooled by the name, this is more than a butcher shop. They have quite a selection of made to order sandwiches along with homemade fudge, cookies and a cooler full of beverages. Very clean and very polite. If you are looking for a quick takeout lunch try this one.

Ate here twice, good sandwiches, although the staff is quirky (and by quirky I mean they range from down-home friendly to downright rude). Food is fresh, but surprisingly breads are commercial. They have a menu of sandwiches or you can put together your own. They could put out some awesome lunches if they'd get some locally baked breads, especially given... More
