Neat historical items to look at while you wait. Lots of locals were eating there when we were there. The food was good.

This used to be a good little place for breakfast and lunch. I never managed to make it there for dinner. That's too bad, because they closed down this spring. They will be missed

Have stopped at Jenny's Café a few times on our way to the Paiute Palace in Bishop. Breakfasts are homemade and very good. Establishment is an old building possibly built as long ago as the late 1800's. Food never disappoints. Everything is homemade. Hospitality is good.

We stayed the night before at Ray's Den, just passing through Indepence on our way from Yosemite to Vegas. We asked the Rat's owner where to find good breakfast the next morning. She pointed to a menu on the front counter for Jenny's Cafe and said it was tow blocks down the street. So we went... Sitting in the restaurant... More

What a cracking little find on a Sunday morning after leaving Death Valley. Nothing for miles and everything in Lone Pine was closed. Lovely service, surroundings and food.

There are few options in Independence, especially for breakfast. But Jenny prides herself on homemade baked goods and good ingredients. I thought the coffee was good, too - not Farmer Brothers! I ate there for three breakfasts and loved the breakfast burrito best. The menu calls for three kinds of meat and potatoes in it...I just had bacon (my choice)... More

Basic food house grub but well made and run by a gal that is pleasant and organized. Had the eggs, hash browns, coffee and toast gig. Perfectly fine to fuel the ride in front of me.

Fresh garden veggies when available. They make their Turkey/roast beef fresh for salads/sandwiches, no processed crap. Very accomadating to food allergies.

Food good. Service friendly. Coffee not the best. Clean. I will go back and I do recommend. Nice break from a long drive. Serves lunch too.
