The appetizers were all very tasty if small in size. The main courses were just super with the Flounder entre especially good. It was kind of warm in the building and it was a tight fit, which is the reason there aren't five stars. The...food taste and quality are the first criteria, but the overall atmosphere comes into the picture.More

Unbelievably excellent!! We are visiting from out-of-town and our hotel recommended this place a few miles away. It was totally amazing! Service was excellent from the moment we walked in. We had hummus to start with and both our meals included tasty Greek salads. I...ordered the gyro platter which came mounded with succulent gyro meat and tzatziki, along with warm pita. My husband ordered his favorite - moussaka. He pretends to look at the menu in Greek restaurants and then only ever orders moussaka! He took a few bites and declared he was in heaven. His favorite moussaka ever was ten years ago in Crete. He said this one was equally as good if not better, and it was huge! (Half was put in a box to take-away!). We highly recommend this delightful little place in historic Manassas!!More

Our favorite downtown restaurant (in a crowded field) in downtown Manassas. Dependable and consistently good. Saganaki (flaming cheese) is a tasty appetizer. I regularly get the Gyro Platter with a heaping pile of meat (always take some to go). Highly recommended is the Taste of...Greece meal which is a sampler of Mousaka, Pastitsio and Spanakipita. The Mousaka and Pastitsio are delicious! Best I have ever had. The Greek Salad is typical but very tasty. In fact, all their dishes are packed with great flavor. Nice setting and a bit quieter (in a good way) than some of the other options in downtown.More

Near empty when we arrived around 515 in the evening. Ask for a table in the corner as we like to sit side by side. We sat down. Look at our menus and waited and waited. Two other groups arrived after us and got served...quickly. We left at 535. The hostess was rude and didn't care we left. Sad. This restaurant used to be good. Now it has uncaring workers. I think it on the way down. We went a couple blocks over to Monza and got polite and immediate service and they had lots of people being serve. Big difference.More

This turned out to be a good place for dinner after a concert at the GMU Hylton Center. Nice selections, good service, quaint surroundings, and inexpensive. Great downtown locations, across from the train station and square.

I felt like I have always been here. Once you cross the threshold, you are family. And you best bring a big family because there is a lot of food. The meat sauce with the Katerina Pasta has that perfect touch of sweet. The Mousaka...is made with layers of love. Bonus is they are in the heart of old town; so, you can walk a little of the meal off.More

Serendipity drew us in. The food, ambience and graciousness of the servers and staff will bring us back. Returning from a delightful "leaf peeping" hike in the Shenandoah on a lovely October day, we came upon Katerina's at dinnertime. Admittedly some of the staff was...new and still learning the ropes, but they handled every guest with kindness and dignity, moving as quickly as they could to serve everyone. Attitude goes a long way! The food was so good, fresh and hot. My husband, normally a pretty buttoned-up guy, suddenly broke out in a Frank Sinatra style "Happy Birthday" croon, holding my hand and looking deep into my eyes! I realized then and there that "Ole Blue Eyes" has nothing on my guy. And to think that Katerina's kebabs inspired him to break out in song.....More

It is really tasty! This is my second time with my family, and it gives us a great Greek experience. The Greek Sample is good, as well as the panini. We would come here again!

Will NEVER again go here. July 4th roads randomly closed. Could not use WAZE app as intended. Called restaurant and told “can’t help you. It’s July 4th…everybody knows that”… Idiots! We ordered 7 meals! You needed to help YOURSELF by assisting customers! We ARE NOT...LOCAL REGULARS! The clueless person who got on phone told us “stay where you are” without clearly knowing where we were OR asking our vehicle make/model!!! We had to move due to traffic. Then we were told by Katerinas Greek restaurant to never order from them again, THEY DID NOT WANT OUR BUSINESS, and Happy Fourth! ….to MILITARY FAMILY! We will do as you ask. We will never bring you our business, tell all or family friend’s neighbors and coworkers we know who come near your establishment! NEVER GO TO KATERINAS GREEK RESTAURANT! THEY DO NOT WANT OUR BUSINESS. ARROGANT AND RUDE EMPLOYEES! Eat your own damned food…so for our order of 7 meals…Bon Appetit Dummies! We gave our money elsewhere! 🤪More

Where do I start? This is the restaurant where we always take our guests from out of town when we want to show them a great time. Yes, we have been coming here since they opened; and yes, we love their food; but tonight was...a great example of why we keep coming back. Here at the tail-end of Covid-19, we are used to ordering through Door Dash, etc. Well tonight, a driver took our food on an extra-long detour to deliver to another client first (even though we live right down the street), and when they finally arrived 45 minutes later, they delivered the completely wrong order. I mean, completely wrong. So I called Katarina's and told them what happened. George, the hard-working owner, apologized for the mix-up (even though the driver grabbed the wrong bag), and said he'd have a new order ready in 20 minutes. So I drove to the restaurant and was greeted at the door with a hug and a glass of wine and a seat at a table to wait at while he showed me pictures of his daughter and asked about my family. How cool is that? So I left happy with a warm dinner to take home, I feel reconnected with George and his staff, and now I can't want to order from Katarina's again. A class act. Highly recommended.More

Absolutely amazing Greek food! Highly loved the spicy feta dip, the gyro, the rice pudding, or custard dessert wrapped in phyllo dough. The chicken lemon soup will become my new sick time comfort good. Wonderful meal and completely reasonable price!

This was the last time that me or my family have ordered from you. Not 2 month ago I complained about the same issue. Health department regulations clearly state that that during the pandemic employees that handle food need to wear masks and gloves. Tonight,...I was whiteness to 4 employees in your kitchen violating these simple rules. Having a mask around your neck, or below your nose is in-effective. One employee used the mask to keep his chin warm. and one employee did not have a mask at all. Your willful disregard of rules put into effect to safeguard the community is enough for me to no longer frequent your establishment.More

The hummus and some of the chicken dishes are good. I ask for sliced cucumber to eat with the hummus and skip the pita bread. They will alter some dishes to accommodate as possible
