Didn't expect to find this little gem - beautiful English style fish and chips with a good old pot of tea (beer and wine also served) in a little street off Tourist street.

Friendly staff, quick service. Tasteless, mushy fish. It is possible that other things on the menu may be better.

The food in here is very good, we had the set menu which was great value at 8 or 9 euros, and all prepared and cooked while you wait

I really love eating here. There is adequate and comfortable seating. Also the fish is always fresh and tasty. One of the best fish and chips I have tasted in Malta.

It was nice to have a possibility to feel like in England in Buggibba, even though they also served a traditional fish soup from Malta. We had our supper twice there as we liked this cosy place at once and tasty fresh fish with chips and local beer (Skol). The waitress taught us to say some words in Maltese. Saħħa!

I don't normally eat in this kind of place, at least not when on holiday. However, the fish was cooked to perfection and covered in the best, lightest batter I have ever eaten, and I'm a Brit! Other food looked good too. Incredibly cheap, excellent value. (And lots of Brits and locals kept on popping in for a take away)

The chips and mushy peas were very good, the fish tasted different to the cod I eat back home, the texture was different, but I still ate nearly all. The lager was a bit flat though
