Excellent service and excellent food.

This is really lovely - highly recommend you book to avoid disappointment. I emailed them a couple of weeks before as we were only there for 2 nights and they came back to me and confirmed on the same day. When we got there they...were fully booked and they must have turned away over 20 people in the time we were seated. Hot fresh bread with hummus and olives came complimentary to begin with. I had the octopus to start and my husband had fish cakes. Both really lovely although I have to admit I had food envy on the table next to us who had ordered prawn tacos! They looked divine! I had a starter portion of seafood linguine as my main and my husband had a traditional dish of rabbit stuffed with sausage which came with mash and seasonal vegetables… then he had strawberry cheesecake. First time either of us had rabbit and it was good! (Reminded us both a bit of pork) The staff checked on you several times and the service was very good. They asked if you wanted to see the fish before you made your choice and they also set fire to a fish covered in salt at the table for a customer near us which was fascinating. For the quality I didn’t think it was too pricey… including 3 diet cokes it came to €82 (2 of us) and worth every cent! Highly recommend!!More

BEST MEAL I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!

This restaurant is AMAZING! The best meal I have ever had in my entire life! The food was beautiful, everything we ate was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality, all cooked to perfection! The hosts & service staff were all very...friendly and made us feel special whilst attending to our every need with speedy service. The best Maltese bread & olive oil on the island. The Beef Wellington was another world, truly remarkable the taste and flavours were exquisite! The salmon cooked to perfection. The desserts very tasty too. The food was that good I had to go thank the chefs in the kitchen! We booked again for our lastnight but due to unforseen circumstances we could not attend which we apologize for. Any future visits to Malta we will be sure to eat here each trip. We dined at a few of the top rated restaurants in Malta and none compared to the food, service and atmosphere we experienced at Venus! I have dined at many restaurants around the world and Venus is the best meal I have experienced. Anyone looking to improve their own restaurant go eat at Venus and see what perfection looks and tastes like! Credit to the owners!More

What's not to like

Shortly: What's not to like? Andrea and the other waiters was super welcomming, observant and kind. The food was just fantastic. The different fish we had was super moist with great flavours. Despite only being on Malta for a week, we have decided to come...back again the day before we leave. It's just that good, we just want another opportunity to experience what they offer.More

Great service

Went for an early dinner. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. Started with beef carpaccio and then had the beef Wellington and risotto. Paired with a delicious local red wine. They do what they do very well and I’d definitely return.

Wonderful family run restaurant in Bugibba with that touch of class without the pretension

Once again we visited the Venus and as always hosted by the wonderful brothers Roberto and Andreas. The restaurant is intimate and the family run restaurant ticks all the right boxes. The steak is the best on the island and is always tasty and tender...with wonderful presentation. Deserts are varied and The vanilla creme brûlée is so smooth and tasty your going to want more! Don’t miss this restaurant if you are in Malta .More

Beautiful restaurant family feel

Beautiful atmosphere as soon as your entered greeted by the whole family throughout our evening. The food was exceptional you can choose your own fresh fish. Highly recommended

Great food in Bugibba Malta

Divine Maltese food; Chef Reuben’s creations are delicious and made with local produce and some of the best homemade pasta I’ve ever tasted. His sons - Roberto n Andreas are so charming you’d eat them up as well. Ate there several times during our stay

Fantastic find on our holiday.

The food was exceptional and the staff are so lovely. We found this on the first night of our holiday and just simply had to return again before coming home. No food has matched up to it since. Thank you and cannot wait to return....Highly reccommend. *****More

Worth to come by!

Nice experience at Venus restaurant. First of all, I am a chef in Spain and can say that cuisine and service were both excellent. We had 2 starters for share, one was filo package stuffed with cheese, nothing special but tasty, the other a prawn...tartar which still make me dream about. As main course we had Wild sea bass made on salt crust. The flavour and cooking were perfect and the waiter presentation almost academic. Both the tartar and the fish were not on the menu, but suggestions of the day. Our waiter was so professional but friendly and suggested us the best Malta visits for our holidays. Worth to come by!More

Lunch at Venus

Just enjoyed a lovely lunch at Venus Restaurant. My wife had Duck as main course whilst I had ribeye. Both plates looked great and tasted even better. The service was amazing and we really enjoyed it. See you again. Thanks.

Sunday Lunch

Starting the lunch with a bottle of Pinot Grigio as we opted to go for fish. Starters we took fish Carpaccio and Homemade Fish Ravioli. For Main course we shared Fresh Local Grouper. Will be back if we come to Malta Again.
