We visit this place yesterday evening. The thet weren't many people in the restaurant and we were seated straight away. Started were lovely but the mains were even more. The food quality was very good and it had a nice price to quality ratio. Service...was great and friendly. We enjoyed our dinner there!!More

We fancied some Indian food and decided to order a delivery from Garam Masalaa. The price seemed to be a bit steep, but we placed an order anyway (the receipt is enclosed, the delivery charge was 2.50 euro). Later we realized that apart from delivery...charge you pay about 20% more on the top of the restaurant prices (not like in England, where the price for take-aways is considerably cheaper than in the restaurants). The quality of the food was shocking. The samosa was totally inedible, simply a pile of charcoals (see the picture below). The dish, which was supposed to be a shashlik, was a horrible sausage meat (photo is attached). When I contacted the restaurant, in a quite aggressive manner I was educated that Turkish shashlik has nothing to do with Indian Sheekh kebab. I said whatever it was, it just tasted and looked like sausage meat and neither me, nor my husband could eat it. I was offered a refund for a totally burnt samosa after I produced the picture of it and was told in a reluctant tone 'If you want we can refund you for the samosa', to which I suggested that I should have received a refund for both of inedible dishes, but got the response that nothing was wrong with the sheekh kebab. If you don't like something whilst dining in the restaurant and reject to eat it, no one will charge you for that. You pay more for the food in take-away containers in this case and get absolutely no compensation for very poor quality food. No money was refunded to me for this ordeal. It was quite costly and a very disappointing experience. Think twice about this restaurant.More

Out of all the Indian places I have tried in Malta, this is the one with the best food, hands down. It is delicious, with flavours that are intense, balanced and authentic. It never disappoints, no matter what you choose to go for. The service...is friendly, the prices are just. The restaurant has a beautiful aquarium kitchen and a terrace with sea view. The indoor dining area could be improved, perhaps the lighting is a bit strong for a restaurant. All in all, one of my top 5 restaurants in Malta.More

Ate here many times when we lived nearby. Visited again after a year's absence and was not disappointed. The food is always excellent. The staff friendly and welcoming. I need a gluten free diet and always have a really good meal and plenty of choice.

Visited this restaurant with my kids and the food was absolutely superb. We loved it so much we went back for our last night. Friendly staff and the Korma chicken was the best I’ve ever tasted. Delicious food.

We ate here as a family of four. We had tikka masalas, spice levels 4 and 7 and madras spice level 8. They were all excellent and spice level 8 is definitely hot! We also had poppadoms, rice and naan. The whole experience was great...including the service and we would definitely recommend.More

Tonight 6 of us went into restaurant for a meal. Honestly before we ate there 2 days before we visited the restaurant and the men were in the kitchen literally scrubbing it from top to bottom. Absolutely immaculate. Came tonight, lovely to be able to...see into kitchen and how spotless it was. Staff friendly. Restaurant beautiful and spollesss. Food was served and would have been even better if the seasoning used was left out. It tasted very peppery /salty which spoilt what would have been gorgeous food. Meat tender and of good quality, naan bread and rice amazing. Hope the restaurant takes note of this review as honestly the seasoning was too over powering. I Eat 2-3 Indian meals a week in UK and ate Indian food all over the world. Never needed this much seasoning. I would definitely eat there again if seasoning stopped. Heard owner say its Indian spices never tasted spices like it. Told waiter he said he would feed it back. Otherwise I would give 100% positive feedback.More

This place is initially inviting, with a kitchen open to customers' view, which gives a sense that hygiene must be fine. A high-chair was supplied quickly, and service was prompt - and other than a mix-up with one dish (quickly rectified), the food was of...a decent standard, if not dazzling. A few niggles knock the score down from 4 stars: slightly grubby high-chair, inconsistent spiciness levels (given they have a 1-10 spice level to choose from) - and a rather pushy, hurried waiter. If someone's going to condescendingly mansplain the sequence in which to order food items to my mother-in-law, it'll be me, thanks all the same.More

We went for a meal, as we have been before. It was just as good as the last time and what we had it was worth what we paid.
